Knock, knock..."Yes?"..."Land Shark!"  Bull Sharks can swim up the Mississippi River. Discovery needs to do Sharkageddon II: The Midwest Under Attack!
I would not be surprised  if that happened.

Seriously, "sharkageddon".

P.s. Discovery is going to make a "documentary" about living African sauropods! It will have fake photos, actors telling you what they "saw", and reused CoTD footage.
I may not like feathered dinosaurs and stumpy legged Spinosaurs, but I will keep those opinions to myself, I will not start a debate over it, I promise. 😇

I've lost all hope in Discovery. Were there ratings bad? Mythbusters is the only good thing on there now.

Me too. The ratings must have been.

Probably is, it's saddening.  :'(

well, there have been numerous (unsubstantiated thus far) reports of bull sharks in the great lakes, probably arriving through the Mississippi river system

but considering the ratio of lamprey to shark attacks on people, sharks in the great lakes are not whats worth fretting over...

I've had some temporary access to the National Geographic Channel, and I can't help but wonder why Discovery and its channels have fallen so low. Way back when I was a little child, Discovery was just like the NG channel. It was amazing and I loved it (Wild Discovery - never forget). Any *big* documentary that aired was like a major event, and most people found the time to see it (WWD was a very big deal right before it aired; my classmates even talked about it). Who in the world is running the networks? Sounds like they really need to get ousted.

Ahh, back when animal channels were actually about animals (looking at you animal planet!), now it's all about the ratings, ratings, ratings.
