Beautiful work, some of the best roadside dinosaurs I've ever seen. Shame it's so far away.

Paleogene Pals

This is museum-quality stuff. Far above any typical roadside dino attraction. I wish I could visit it someday.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Thank you both! There is nothing like this in our area here, another reason I wanted to give it a go.  Perhaps one day others will follow suit and try something similar.

I'm going to try and vary posts showing the prehistoric inhabitants here and then post some showing our guests as well.

Gwangi

There is nothing like that here either and it's something that really bothers me. I'm not a particularly creative or handy kind of guy though to build something like that myself.

Paleogene Pals

Your park is pretty unique and considering all the happiness and joy you must bring to all the children who visit, a real treasure.

laticauda

Looks like it is time for a road trip!  :)

Very nice. Much better than those horrendous animatronic dinosaur exhibits that pop up everywhere and refuse to die down despite featuring dinosaurs that would have looked bad even 50 years ago...

Kids of all ages I assure you!

I'll tell you something, we were over at the haunt site working til 9:30pm , when we get back there is a van parked here. It's odd because it says we close at 9pm. We never have late visitors either.  So we start into the entrance and run into a woman and her son coming out. She says she's sorry for being there so late, but her and her husband had an argument and she wanted to go do something and cool down awhile..get her kid out of the house too.  So they came here because he's been before and she knew he loved it..and it would totally take his mind off things..and her a bit as well.   I tell you I was very proud to be able to offer her a sanctuary..a place to come to and do something with her son that actually helped them and offered them piece of mind.  The fact that dinosaurs could do that..even be a part of it..was extremely heart warming to me.

Paleogene Pals

It is amazing how art helps people in so many ways and offers a place to escape, sometimes from unpleasant situations.

Blade-of-the-Moon

My feelings exactly..it's so cool!

Some of these early creations are still in the Park..

That's an amazing story, what a feeling that must have been for you.  I'm sure a lot of people will never forget the creations you've shared with them. That they're dinosaurs, and accurate at that, makes it all that much better.

It was awesome! Just talking with people who visit..I wish I could do it all day long. Many seem to enjoy the opportunity of meeting me and my cohort  and telling us about what they liked most.  But I'm always into something..another dinosaur, the haunt, party planning, advertising..yeesh.

But sharing the latest info with people who have only heard the odd news story..that's cool too..so far I haven't met anyone who thinks they still drag their tails... lol

Looking at those first models and comparing them to Stan and the Trike really shows how much you improved and got better at what you are passionately doing. I draw my (imaginary) hat to you, Chris! Keep up the great work, maybe one day you'll start replacing the old ones with newer models and will be proud to see the comparison. :)

Also, that story is really lovely. It's great to have a place to lose your mind in (it's the viennese zoo for me, for example).

Thank you my friend.

We've looked at replacing some..I did replace the juvenile dilo with another one.  There are just so many we have yet to try..so I'll probably mostly keep going with new species for awhile yet. :)

I agree..I need a vacation to find time to do just that.. lol

Your park is in Tennesse. That's a long way from Canada. I would like to get a map of all the dino museums and parks of North America and do a roadtrip.
