I must have been lucky with my Acrocanthosaurus set! Hercules stands perfectly, always has. The Ceratosaurus, "Savage" on the other hand, has to be positioned precisely. Same with the King T. rex even with the Fallen Queen, and my Utahraptor has a crude armature fashioned out of a paper clip. The Yutyrannus has always been spot-on, it's never had a fall! Probably worth picking some of them up sooner rather than later if some of these older figures are apparently going to be discontinued :o
avatar_Dilopho @Dilopho the Grab and Go line is a pretty recent development with no releases yet, it's intended to be a range of budget (£15) scale models that are more scientific than REBOR's usual output, but with the same high degree of detail and made from hollow vinyl to reduce costs ^-^ So far the unpainted prototypes of a T. rex, a beautiful Spinosaurus and a Komodo dragon have been produced! The latter is something for London Zoo, and they've also previewed a digital version of Lonesome George, which makes me wonder if they're moving more into recently extinct megafauna...🤔 Some information from ED indicated that things like the King Trident are on indefinite hold, but the Killer Queen is due out in March

Shonisaurus

I confirmed www.minizoo.com.au and shop.modellpferdeversand.de that the new figures of tyrannosaurus Killer Queen by Rebor will be marketed at the end of March.

Blimey didnt expect the budget line to be that cheap, are they going to be 1/35 scale still do you know ?

Shonisaurus

Sincerely those two tyrannosaurus rex "Killer Queen" are quite affordable for a 1:35 scale.

I sincerely hope the figures of the non-dinosaurs the titanoboa (three versions) of Rebor and the prehistoric crocodiles sarcosuchus and deinosuchus, I get the impression that it is going to lengthen indefinitely (and I know I am an oath) the commercialization of those prehistoric reptiles rare in the toy market.

Minmiminime

avatar_BRONSON @BRONSON The dinosaurs they've revealed are 1:35, I think the Komodo dragon is 1:6, that's what they're intending for Lonesome George too!

I would be interested in the Komodo Dragon fascinating creature.

Excellent thanks, will be interesting to see if they are the same or as close as quality of the other models they make, I would sooner stick with buying from a British company personally if possible being English myself.

It's really sad that most of their planned releases are being put on hold cause I would have liked to see what they do with more herbivores and a bit of their own original creations and not just copying Jurassic Park designs.

I have most of their figures and I particularly like the Acrocanthosaurus and Ankylosaurus since they are an original design and they look fantastic as does the Ceratosaurus. Let's hope they continue making dinosaur figures cause it would only benefit us collectors and dino enthusiasts.

Fresh news:

Rebor is going to make his particular King Kong to fight the vastatosaurus tyrannosaurus rex. I pass the link,

https://www.facebook.com/reborstudio/photos/a.555150811278598/1941332529327079/?type=3&theater

The text says:

"Oh and we'll have a very angry gorilla this year!

REBOR will be collaborating with amazing artist & creature designer Tomek Radziewicz to release at 1: 11 ± 1 scale alpha male gorilla statue that's compatible with most 1:10 (7 ") and 1:12 (6") figures on the market, but most importantly -the size works for REBOR 1:35 Tyrannosaurus rex Vanilla Ice ... yeah you know what I mean "

On the other hand, a velociraptor at a 1: 2 scale on vinyl is also planned.

I pass the link.

Thanks for sharing, avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus ! I'm glad they're doing something, but sad that it's more movie memorabilia. I'm not remotely interested in these, so won't say any more about them! I'll continue to hold out hope for their Spinosaurus and Stegosaurus, but meanwhile there are plenty of other dinosaur figures to keep us occupied 😊

I'm sad to see that the vinyl "Velociraptor" is a JP raptor.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

Blade-of-the-Moon

It's supposed to be a baby JP Raptor..I'm betting Blue.

Rebor continues their trend of announcing 20 items and producing maybe 4 a year.. lol

tanystropheus

I'm very excited about their artist collaboration for the upcoming King Kong model. The only other King Kong model that works perfectly with the V-rex is also way too expensive.

I wonder how they will make it look less obvious...perhaps, give it a purple stripe instead of a blue one...

I fully expect it will look pretty much exact, maybe the stripes on the head will be the same instead of different, but that's it. Rebor has proven they can get away with direct designs, just look at their past JP Raptors.

Syndicate Bias

Can't say I'm excited. They seem like they're taking on too many projects and not really releasing many of their old ones in a timely manner. Just look at their JP Dilos and Meta and Lica and Titanoboa. Those are already painted and everything just like their V-Rex was before they sent it to the factory months ago. Why aren't those at least on a release date?

Not that I want them but still...They seem to be giving their raptors and rexes priority over anything else.

I can understand those sell and they need money to fund other projects. At least that way you get some different and interesting pieces on top of just raptors, rexes and movie monsters.  My complaint is they announce projects of interest, then they just vanish to be replaced by more of the same.  I just ignore what they announce anymore, I may comment but I never expect to receive them. If it makes it to production cool, if not no big deal. You just have to jump off the hype train.

I think rebors whole model is very reactive. They're like me when I was 11 and thought I could start my own shapeways shop for Transformers accessories. I thought I'd make all this cool stuff: swords for Universe Cyclonus, etc. So, I thought I'd make some awful Microsoft paint "concept art" and thought I'd post it on TFW to get people excited for my "3rd Party Company"...I never made anything. Yes, I was a very dumb child.

Shonisaurus

I would also like the Rebor company to streamline the commercialization of the novelties, but the fact that they do not release anything (until the end of March, the two Rebor hyperrealistic tyrannosaurs rex will not be commercialized) is due to a lack of budget on the part of the company or maybe it is not that and they are waiting for profits and huge profits, of their commercialized products, when they have obtained the sufficient profits I repeat that they will market more figures.

I honestly am waiting for the two crocodiles, the sarcosuchus and the deinosuchus of Rebor, and their commercialization is going on forever. They are two figures that interest me since both prehistoric crocodiles of the Mesozoic are sincerely both badly represented in the toy market and those two figures would cover my expectations.

On the other hand I am also facing the expectation of the titanoboa, vinyl dinosaurs (spinosaurus, tyrannosaurus scientific versions), dilophosaurus, turtle of the island Pinta (the solitary George) among other figures. But what Rebor said is waiting for economic benefits of their products, if I did not get them I would have to close the company (for my part I do not want it for anything in the world) since Rebor is a very detailed company in making figures of dinosaurs of all kinds JW, scientists and fiction figures. It would be a shame. I hope I'm not a bird of ill omen.

This is such an apt description. I think many of us were children of this variety. My particular ambition was to make an encyclopedia of all animals. This was before I grasped what it actually means to illustrate hundreds of thousands of parasitoid wasps.

Anyway, somebody (forgive me, I forget who) referred to Rebor's vaporware, which I think is also a pretty good way to sum it up, but the vaporware is a lot easier to take when it's just more unofficial merch for King Kong and JP.
