Rearing Ceratopsians?

I edited my post since you quoted it, adding a couple of my thoughts on mating and the reasons for rearing.  Not sure if that answers your question or not.

One thing I forgot to go into further was for feeding.  It would be useful perhaps, in times of food scarcity, to be able to rear and take advantage of a new food source (assuming it was palatable).  Whether this happened or not, I don't know.  I am not aware if anyone has studied the physiology of ceratopsians and analyzed their hip structures, center of gravity etc vis a vis rearing and holding the position for extended periods of time.

I'm surprised there haven't been any rearing ceratopsid figures as of late.

What about Papo's Pentaceratops figure ?

this is an old thread i dredged up.  When he made that comment, over six years ago, I don't think the Pentaceratops figure had been released yet.
