It's polyresin from what I know.
I don't have it in my hands yet (It's still in transit from Germany).
It's almost impossible to cast a figure in pvc with such fine details..
:)

I visitied Urzeitshop's website. Good thing I am taxonomically restricted to arthropods (and a few similar) otherwise I could go broke on that site! haha

I love your ~daily pic updates!

Around 1990, in Italy, the Castagna Collection did a series of 6 figures about prehistoric animals.
They are made of alabaster and resin: Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Brontosaurus, Stegosaurus and Mammoth.
Finally I have completed my Castagna collection with the last two: Tyrannosaurus & Woolly Mammoth.
I'm still waiting for the Tyrannosaurus from USA (still in transit).
But I just received the Mammoth.

Here:  Castagna 1990 Mammoth

..even Special Agent Dale Cooper is talking to Diane about a figure from Twin Peaks' same age (1990)...

Other figures from Castagna Collection:

and Castagna Tyrannosaurus will be into my collection soon

I have a hercules beetle, Dynastes hercules, by Castagna as well.

My brother has the Tyrannosaurus, and has had for years. Nice to know the maker of the thing at last. (This kind of stuff is one of the reasons why I joined the Forum). It's odd how just about every Dinosaur has its tail steadfastly glued to the ground!

Wonderful assortment of Brachiosaurs! Which company produced the odd green Brach between the old Favorite and Carnegie figures?

It's from Recur (China).

Shonisaurus

Brachiosaurus is the most represented species in the toy market. There is practically no company that has not made that magnificent copy. Rather, they should all be called giraffatitan except dee Carnegie.  ^-^

Mr. Martin Garratt is a great artist, a wonderful painter and an awesome sculptor.
Unfortunately I haven't any original Garratt sculpture but I have some of other's artists kits assembled and painted by him.

So here it is a little Martin Garratt tribute about figures in my collection:

Especially Robin I like the quality of your photos and how well taken care of you have these dinosaur figures. It is a pity that Bullyland has practically disappeared from the production of dinosaurs. It was an acceptable company and in many of its figures good.  :)

PNSO has appeared and disappeared like a meteor...
Apparently they're experiencing some legal problems in China and the production is closed.
It's a shame because their figures are really awesome.
High prices to be expected on Ebay in the future for PNSO...  ;)

So here it is my DAILY PICS ON DTF  post about PNSO
