I know that we're still a couple of weeks out from the DVD/Blu Ray release, but has anyone seen any actual production images of the gift set? I could take or leave the movie, myself, but I immediately ordered the gift set for the included figures.

Gwangi

The digital download version was released yesterday FYI.

Meso-Cenozoic

Well, while we're waiting for the last few days to pass till the DVD/Blu-ray's release, pick yourself up one of these...

I was just in my local Rite Aid Pharmacy, and saw this. Haha! It was selling for $16.99. I'm guessing it was some kind of contest for new Chia Pets, and these were the top 3 that were chosen.

Kinda funny! Looks like its bursting out of the trees, like in the seen where Indominus was chasing the kids.  :D

Ha ha.  I think you may be right.  Perhaps that's what they were trying to accomplish.   ;D

Speaking of it I just got mine. My hubby had it preordered since the film hit theaters. But um, I think it's an Amazon exclusive.

Dobber

Got my collectors set from Amazon earlier today. The figures are pretty nice looking. I'll take some pictures for you all.  ;)

Looking forward to seeing them.  I just grabbed a standard blu Ray to hold me over until I see the other cool editions that are available.

Congrats.   I debated long and hard about rather or not i should get the set. What does the Disc Case look like with the set?

Gwangi

Would love to see pictures of the models. I'm also debating getting the gift set, I would love to review the models for the blog. Does it come with all the "Jurassic" movies or just JW?

Takama

I think it just comes with JW in Bluray DVD and DIGITAL Dowload.

What i want to know is are the disks containd in a normal DVD/Bluray case, or do they come with this.

If it comes with that, i will be mad, as its a good way to Scratch the discs.

stargatedalek

That would depend no what the inside is coated with.

Dobber

The disks are in cardboard sleeves that stack into the circular tin pictured above. No standard dvd/Blu-Ray case.
Here are some pictures of the models. Sorry for the lighting. It's night time here.  :-[  The bases are slightly magnetized, so they "click" together in the right spot.

The Rex has some claw marks on her neck...it's a nice touch.  ;)

I was going to say something, but Ian Malcolm summed up my thoughts in this scene.

Nope.

I'm super happy to have both tins, one containing the Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital as well as the one that came with my collector's set. The 3D Blu-Ray, Blu-Ray, DVD, set. :3
Tomorrow I should be getting the Walmart exclusive. :D (I might have gone a little nutz)
