avatar_Night Maw @Night Maw not yet, shipping is due to begin on the 29th ^-^ I'm currently worrying myself wondering if I'll get clobbered with huge customs charges 😱

Thanks, that alleviates me some. Yeah I'm hoping I don't get charged for the 2 items bought either

Sadly we've had plenty of time to save for the import charges..... No word on mine yet.

I've been fearing that for months too, I've spent just over £100 on these raptors, last time I did that the customs charge was an extra £50 or something ridiculous like that

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres Kind of looks like Kuo's style. Looks more like a bird though? But then again there were those repainted accessory pack critters. Maybe those will be available soon? Looking forward to it whatever it's for though.

New Kickstarter update, which features a teaser about "surprises" for the Beasts of the Mesozoic line:

Not sure if this is hinting at new artwork available from Kuo, or if it's alluding to 1/18 scale raptor figures that Silva has suggested could be a possibility.

I hope maybe the blue Velociraptor will be made available. It would be too bad for it to just remain a campaign exclusive.

Abbinormally

Someone was saying that it looks like the roadrunner custom that Silva made and I agree to an extent. The colors look a little different. I could see it being a roadrunner based figure but likely with a slightly more complex paint scheme.

I can see that, especially with that tutorial he posted where he painted a raptor with road runner colours. I'm really intrigued to see what comes of this.

I wish those 1/18 raptors happens, the other ones, while beautiful, were just too big for me.

I think people who bought the blue Velociraptor would be understandably upset if it was made available to non-backers.

Yeah, 1/18 is a little more my speed too.

I'm not even a backer but even I would be upset if a campaign exclusive figure were to just be come available for public purchase. I'm all for kickstarter rewards being exclusively available for kickstarter backers. I mean, they're the people who ultimately made the campaign a reality, they deserve an exclusive 'thank you' gift.

Minmiminime

I am a backer and I ordered the blue variant Velociraptor only because it was exclusive. It's certainly not one of my preferred figures in the range, so I'd definitely feel a bit betrayed if it became general release!

That picture is certainly tantalising! I really will have to see how the customs charges go though before I commit anything to the new campaign when it starts. avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji I've spent even more than you, so I'm very concerned, now :o

I'm starting to think it would have been cheaper to support the campaign without a reward and then buy them when they were released..!

Perhaps, he should do stegosauridae next...

I'll happily support that idea. And I think before we dream everything about every theropods we can think of we should see how the ceratopsian line will go. He wants to do around 50 figures of them. It will be interesting to see how that line will manage. And we should create a new thread for the new line. This thread is already huge and it's confusing and annoying a little to see the mixed shots as everybody got their raptors and the ceratopsids in the making.

Yeah this thread is getting really huge and I would prefer to have one for only ceratopsians to be more organized

Does anyone want me to make one?

I say you might as well, since you've already done the spreadsheet.

Oh jeez, sorry for not responding, I went to visit my cousins for a few days and didn't have internet.
I'll work on a new thread :)

*EDIT* Posted!

Faelrin

David promised a long time ago that the blue raptor would be staying a kickstarter exclusive. And speaking of that blue one, I'll be getting my hands on it soon, since the Wave 2 raptors start shipping this week.

I would have backed the campaign if I was aware of it at the time but I wasn't just a year later (that time just I rarely visited forum and mostly just pictures for new releases). And the campaign lasted just for a month. So if you don't have enough savings for that time or like me just met the campaign page later and you don't have even just a tiny chance to get one figure but you would really love to. Sorry but in other cases too the exclusive figures which were made in small numbers just feels I don't know... discriminative? If you or a friend of yours weren't there you got just little to no chance and they're very expensive too because they're exclusive/rare. They just make me sad or maybe even frustrated a little sometimes and I can only wish for a chance. So I would be much more happier with fair and even chances. I don't have even chances to get Safari or CollectA figures. In the USA or in Western Europe you can buy them probably in any toystore while I have to order them abroad. Our opinions will be different because our situations are different too.

Everything Dinosaur has these guys in stock! I may have to pick one up, I love articulated dinosaurs. I hope this line paves the way for more articulated figures in future.

But darn, they are expensive.

Especially the accessory packs, the only things in this line I care about  :(

I'm guessing it's because EverythingDinosaur is more of a 'toy store' than a 'hobby store', therefore they are unlikely to sell a kit.

I thought it would be cool to post this here as well, since many of you waited for this awesome Dino toy line from David Silva to launch :)

Ahhh, so awesome to finally see them on ED!!
I do honestly wish I just waited then bought them on ED (because, for starters, it wouldn't have cost me £30 in shipping), but atleast pre-ordering meant I got to procure a red Velociraptor Osmolskae.

All but 3 of those aren't 'model kits' in the traditional sense, and the fact that they only sell 3 from the exact same line shows that they aren't confident in selling them.
