I remember reading somewhere that KS backers had priority over shipping (and rightfully so)

..no, it's not true.. ONLY KS Backers from US have priority over shipping.
I'm a first time KS backer from Europe; I ordered 8 raptors (wave 1+2 / but there wasn't wave 1/2 at the time, when I did my payment..) plus 2 accessory packs (Microraptor & Buitreraptor)
I did not receive a single raptor yet.
US Backers already have their wave 1 figures.
I'm quite hungry about that.. 
I know that my order was shipped few days ago.
There's a funny thing about that: after the KS project ended, I separately ordered the Desert Pack with Mononykus; I already received that Pack months ago.. 
For sure I won't do any new KS campaign from Silva in the future.

There's probably someone out there who was looking forward to their Adasaurus only to receive a Saurornitholestes o.o

It's probably an honest mistake, it happened to me with ED once, I'm sure you can message Silva and get it sorted out

I (pre)ordered mine through Backerkit. I do believe I had to complete a survey, but I honestly don't remember anymore.

...So, did I forget, and the deluxe raptors don't have jumping stands? The ones I've opened only have the basic stand.

Yeah, raptors only come with normal stands, the accessory packs come with the jumping rod.

I know that kickstarter backers had to complete a survey on backerkit (for address, or change pledge, etc), where we got to select any additional addon's (such as the Blue exclusive raptor) with our pledge amount, or pay more for more items (through the backerkit store). Like I do recall backing enough for at least the Velociraptor, print, exclusive Velociraptor, and maybe the two Dromaeosaurus, and then I added on the mountain and desert accessory packs (in other words paid for them when the survey closed which was November of 2016 I think). Even though my survey was closed I was able to PM David and pay him through paypal to add on the Acheroraptor, fan's choice Saurornitholestes (originally the red Velociraptor), and the Amber Nestling's pack to it. Anyways back to the survey thing, time and time again I recall seeing in updates that people still did not complete their surveys, or even had declined cards, and thus still needed to pay their pledge amount. It just seems like there were people who backed but then just forgot all about the thing after the kickstarter ended.

Also even though I'm in the US, I had to pay another shipping fee ($10 I think?) for Wave 1 raptors to ship early, but that option was only for US backers (and I honestly wanted them then, then waiting till now for the ones available to ship). I was also able to get my accessory packs and nestling pack when it was ready back in January for no additional shipping cost.

So yeah I think it is correct to say that US backers had it easy with this and got things earlier then those overseas. Which isn't really fair I guess. I know some of it had to do with people concerned with paying additional custom fee's, and wanting their Wave 1 and Wave 2 raptors to ship together, but I think that getting the Wave 1 raptors earlier should have been an opt in option for overseas folk too.

Okay then, I needed more motivation to get those packs anyway.

Not sure if this is hinting at new artwork available from Kuo, or if it's alluding to 1/18 scale raptor figures that Silva has suggested could be a possibility.

My raptors are about 3 hours away, and the shipment info was sent from Fedex to USPS and the delivery date was updated from Friday to Thursday!

David replied back today saying the Adasaurus was part of my original order and hadn't shipped yet,  while the Saurornitholestes is shipped and coming in Thursday.   I'd swear I never ordered him,  but if so cool. If David is just trying to make it up to me while he deals with all these orders then EPIC cool of him.  Even if it wasn't necessary.    Just hope it's not an error and he's losing money.

That's bizzare o.o Are you sure you maybe didn't just forget you ordered it? Maybe ask who the Adasaurus was charged to and see if it matches your details?

Do you have a "Survey Confirmation" email that was sent after you completed the survey with the choices for your order?  If you do, I think you would be able to see what you ordered there.  I still have my email and in it I can see what I chose.

@IrritatorRaji there was a delivery attempt of mine today, but I don't know who the courier is and they didn't leave a card or any information as to when they may make a further attempt...so I suspect, since they didn't try to leave it with a neighbour, there may be a charge to pay on the doorstep as it were! I can't believe it...I leave the house very early on a Tuesday, but they only missed my other half by half an hour So close!!! Anyway, I'll be sure to let you know

As for the courier, maybe track your package and see if it displays a change of courier? My confirmation email said the courier was USPS, but I don't really know who they are

Ah, mine's the same! After Heathrow it seemed to go to Parcelforce and then Royal Mail, but it's a little unusual for Royal Mail to attempt a delivery so early in the morning, and my updates are still via USPS so I'm not really sure I'm glad you've finally had your notification of dispatch!! Not long now!!

Maybe the frequent change of hands was just to do with shipping in different countries or regions? Like, again, no idea who USPS is, but I very frequently buy packages from Ebay who are shipped by Parcelforce but delivered by Royal Mail, so maybe USPS is just there to handle the international portion of the delivery?

And yeah, so stoked too! My package is currently at JFK, but hopefully it shouldn't be too long a wait now
