USPS = United States Postal Service
They must be who handled the parcel while it was still in the US. What confuses me is why you're still getting notifications from them.
When I buy stuff from the US with tracking, my boxes are generally handled by USPS as long as they're in the US and then handed to Canada Post once they cross the border. This is strange. I would've expected your parcels to be in the hands of your local post service by now.

Ah, mine's the same! After Heathrow it seemed to go to Parcelforce and then Royal Mail, but it's a little unusual for Royal Mail to attempt a delivery so early in the morning, and my updates are still via USPS so I'm not really sure :o I'm glad you've finally had your notification of dispatch!! Not long now!!

I'm not 100% certain but your delivery attempt notification is the notification of your parcel being withheld for customs charges. You'll probably get a notification tomorrow or Thursday of what is due and where you need to go to collect them. Hope the charge is not too high for you.

My package only shipped early this morning, that's why I'm still getting updates from them ^^

That isn't always the case, Royal Mail often leaves a little red slip saying something along the lines of "we missed you", "sorry, you were out", or "something for you". There's a few tick boxes for the postman to tick detailing what they did with the package, 'left with neighbour', 'in your Safeplace', or 'ready to collect at _____' (usually your local post office). Minimiminime was probably referring to a letter like that ^^

I was going on the fact that no red delivery card was left and the report of an early delivery attempt. Based on experience of having the same pattern on 5 or 6 occasions in recent times which all lead to the dreaded customs charges.
It's easy to work out if it's the case, add your total postage plus the declared contents value and if they are greater than the vat threshold, it will be pulled. They have been very hot on items from the states since Trump was inaugurated.

Hope it's not the case.

David replied back today saying the Adasaurus was part of my original order and hadn't shipped yet,  while the Saurornitholestes is shipped and coming in Thursday.   I'd swear I never ordered him,  but if so cool. If David is just trying to make it up to me while he deals with all these orders then EPIC cool of him.  Even if it wasn't necessary.    Just hope it's not an error and he's losing money.

That's bizzare o.o Are you sure you maybe didn't just forget you ordered it? Maybe ask who the Adasaurus was charged to and see if it matches your details?

I asked him to be sure we'll see. I'd hate for someone else to get charged for it.

Do you have a "Survey Confirmation" email that was sent after you completed the survey with the choices for your order?  If you do, I think you would be able to see what you ordered there.  I still have my email and in it I can see what I chose.

I had one, I deleted after my order was completed months back.

I remember originally ordering the main 3 or 4 as the Kickstarter Option.   Velociraptor , Tsaagann,  Atrociraptor, Saurornitholestes ( regular version. )   I didn't really care for Tsaagan, Atroci, or the Sauro.   Then David changed something where he added more options?   So I ordered  Velociraptor, Balaur, Zhenyuanlong, Dromeosaurus as they were most different in appearance to me.   Later I added on a pack of nestlings and the all the diorama sets.   I never even considered Adasaurus since it looked so much like some of the others and I'd never heard of it before.   So somehow or other it had to be a mistake.

Was woken up this morning by a postman, I was going to just ignore him til I remembered what exactly I was expecting to arrive. Ran downstairs, and was handed a mid-sized box. I was so giddy with excitement that I promptly ran back upstairs to get my phone and decided that I needed to record this moment. This was two years in the making and I wanted to capture every moment of it. Sat myself down in a well lit room and delicately opened the package, fingers near trembling with excitement!
Unfortunately.... it wasn't the raptors :c It was a different package I was expecting to arrive next week.... That.... kinda sucked.... a lot....

BUT I do know that the raptors are on their way! They arrived at my local airport this morning and, at 6am, were dispatched! So maybe I'll see them later today or tomorrow!

I got my raptors yesterday! They're pretty fun. Not sure about reviewing them separately, they all work generally the same thanks to the shared parts.

Only two issues though. The desert accessory pack doesn't fit together clearly, not sure how to arrange the pieces. And my Balaur has the wrong dew claw on its right foot, don't know what to do about that one.

My collection! UPDATED 21.03.2020: Dungeons & Dinosaurs!

Minmiminime

I've had no further notifications, so I suspect I'll go home to one of those little red cards from Royal Mail tonight. Why they can't just leave one on the day they actually attempt the delivery is beyond me!! So, fingers crossed, I'll be able to pick them up from the post depot tomorrow morning ;D

I hope you get some sort of info as to the whereabouts of your raptors soon! I wonder if any other UK buyers (who preordered) are having a similar experience

LeapingLaelaps

Oooooh my package is out for delivery!!! And this time my mom's home so she can see them right away ;D

spinosaurus1

my sauronornitholestes is finally being delivered. the hype is real :)

Minmiminime

I've arrived home to one of those little red cards from Royal Mail (why couldn't they have just stuffed one through the door when they attempted to deliver my 'raptors yesterday?! If they had, I could have collected them this morning!! ::)) and a note from Parcelforce (which I gather, is Royal Mail) saying I owe £29.54 for import duty etc avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji  :) I'm relieved it's only that, I had visions of it being £50+

I know people have been talking about painting their raptors and you can paint the deluxe ones as well as long as you wash them before hand and seal your work. I touched up my Dromaeosaur and Velociraptor and the only issues I've had was I over sprayed one with sealant and he got a little tacky (which I fixed with Mr. Super clear sealant) and the paint rubs on the torso joint at the top if you don't let it dry long enough.

avatar_Minmiminime @Minmiminime

That's great to hear, but ugh, the customs charge! I was really hoping it wouldn't rear its ugly head but alas... >.>
But yeah, good thing it isn't £50+, even though I was dreading it would reach prices of up to £100. So, at the very least, I'm glad it's not that bad, but ugh, hate those custom charges

Minmiminime

avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji turns out the red card is a red herring, as it were :D I must have ordered something else, but as I can't remember it'll be a surprise :P

I've rearranged delivery for Friday, when I'll actually be in, awaiting another delivery. Just have to get through tomorrow...

I do that a lot, order things then forget about them when they arrive

But here's to hoping that you finally get your raptors! I'm so impatient atm, I've had a spot saved for them on my shelves for 7 months, every time I look at that barren piece of shelf I'm just reminded of those raptors

Minmiminime

Ah, you're doing better than I am, avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji ! I have no idea where I'm going to put mine :o The blue one is possibly staying in the box...that was the initial plan, but I'll see how I feel!

IrritatorRaji

avatar_Minmiminime @Minmiminime

Keeping them all in their box was the initial plan for me, but I knew as soon I saw early videos of YT's (like PixelDan and JurassicCollectables) reviewing the build-a-raptor kits I knew there was no way I had nearly enough will power to resist playing with them

I'm with you though about keeping the blue one in the box though. I think, in the long run, it would be better to leave it nice and pristine in the box (plus, I am the least delicate person in the world, I probably will destroy the package of any box I attempt to open)

I don't imagine you'd have any issues if you just touched it up. The problems arise when you repaint the entire thing.

Personally I've never liked the idea of completely copying colouration of real animals. It's just lazy, and I wish Silva hadn't done it :(
