The Brachio looks like it's coming along nicely.  And those are some cool night shots of the Spino! :o

Thank you. :) The Spino pond still needs some more small rock..of course I'm adding some lilies and goldfish as well.  You can't really see them but I added some replicas of a monitor behind the Spino and a couple of crocodilians in the water. ;D

The Brachio.. I FINALLY got that big section of the Brachi's chest done ! I'm going to start on the back legs next. Maybe I can get em' both done tomorrow. ;)

Very good news on the Brachy Blade!  Looks like good progress finally! 8)  *orthocone* 8)
Many thanks for keeping your projects up to date this way man, they are totally rad man

Blade-of-the-Moon

No problem I'm glad you guys are enjoying watching her take shape.  :)

It helps me as well see just how long a project like this takes and what progress I can make in a given amount of time.  I have to say I've moved along pretty well all things considered this time. I hope to be finishing this month sometime. ;D

Blade-of-the-Moon

Took these before starting today :

I got to looking ..I think I made the thighs too small..or is it the position of them ?

What do you guys think ?  The skeletals I have aren't much help in this situation.

Himmapaan

Shaping up nicely! I think once you pause to look at the thighs, they probably do feel a little on the thin side. But looking at the piece as a whole, they don't seem to stick out to me. I reckon you could probably get away with it. Assuming you won't be niggled by it forever yourself, of course.  ;D

Tylosaurus

Look'n great Blade! It's really taking some nice shapes now 8) This Brachy is probably your biggest build ever right?
Could you also post a pic of that swimming pool you made in that boat? I gotta see that ^-^

Thanks for weighing in !

Would a juvenile have less muscle mass ? Or does obliterating an entire muscle go too far ? lol

That's the thing..once I see it it's really hard to unsee it.. ;)

I may continue with everything else and then see how much it still bothers me..it is fix-able..just time and material consuming.

Yeah my biggest so far..I haven't really measured it yet..but I'm guessing 25' long.  My biggest before was the Raptor at 13' .

The pool isn't in the boat it just goes up on the other side of it. At the moment the pool is in storage because we need a pump. So the kids here are just using it to play on. :)

Today's pics :

Niroot I think your right..those darn thighs are gonna bug the far out of me :

Tylosaurus

Thicker thighs oughta do it mostly :) The lower legs seem pretty decent Blade 8)

Blade-of-the-Moon

Yeah I think so. It will take a lot of foam but it should work. That deep indention between the current thighs and tail was a big tip off something was up..I just didn't notice looking at the big picture.  I will fix it. :)

stoneage

:)  I was wondering how much you will have spent on the Brachiosaurus, in materials when it is done.

:)  I was wondering how much you will have spent on the Brachiosaurus, in materials when it is done.

In what I've bought I'd say around 10-15.00 ..a lot of the materials were from stuff I had found or had purchased years ago for other uses and are now being re-purposed.

If I had to guess..there is probably around 50.00 worth of stuff there I suppose.

I didn;t get much done today..had to move a medical bed for my grandpa and then helped my uncle change 4 tires on his semi truck...it's just as well though..it's REALLY cold out right now.   I wrapped the other front leg but that was it before it was dark.

Hope the front feet will look okay.

Head progress :

Mostly done..just needs some more detailing in the color patterns..and of course the small spines on the neck.

Himmapaan

The legs are shaping up so nicely! And I love that cream and toffee-coloured neck.

I must have sweet foods on the brain at the moment...
