I love the shape of the Nothosaurus' head, Chris! What material did you make the armature out of?

Same as most of my other creatures, it's foam board and hot glue.  I have spray foamed it now and carved it down, I'll get a new pic soon. Currently carving a juvenile Apatosaur head..lol

Here are some pics my audio video guy took today :

We also shot another little impromptu video..he said" wanna shoot another video?" I was like" what about?" He says " I don't know, wing it. " So I did. lol  I'll hopefully have it up soon.

Apatosaurus progress, fenced area behind will be our Terrors of the Deep exhibit.

That is funny. Last I looked here, I was thinking to myself, it'd be cool to see some pics of people next to the Apato for size comparison..... I come back now and here they are! Hehe! He's massive!! So cool.

The Terrors of the Deep exhibit sounds very ambitious. Can't wait to see more of it! And yes, the Nothosaurus' head looks really good so far.

Ask and ye shall receive..or don't and it will turn up anyway..lol  ;D

Yeah I hope to make fx driven, it's not a lot of space though is my big issue..so not many of the creatures will be full bodied.   The Notho head I skinned tonight and popped in some larger teeth..I'll get a pic tomorrow up of it..the teeth match the ones on the skull I printed out size-wise but they still look..odd fpr some reason I can't place.

What are you going to do with this unfinished Apato when the heavier snows start up? He's going to be a big guy to cover!

Hopefully she'll be coated by then..at least on the top side! I can't climb a ladder very high due to my ankles/feet so my friend Jim does most of that with my direction. He has some days off around Christmas and we hope to go at it full bore!

Here's a pic of the Notho head, skinned and teeth being added:

Wow! That's like an anaconda from hell! Hehe! Awesome!

Thought the Nothosaur looked scary until I read a few pages back and saw that damn clown...
Absolutely adore that Triceratops!
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

To be perfectly honest I'd be more comfortable around a toothy clown than with a regular circus clown :-\ But for the love of god, never let that clown within fifty yards of Topper. That would not be tops. >:(

Carnotaurus. Utahraptor. Yangchuanosaurus. Tarbosaurus. The most terrifying predators the world has ever known. And they pale in comparison to the abysmal horror I have now beheld, to rend my dreams forever.

Hey Blade, are you a Lovecraft fan? I reckon you could absolutely rock a R'lyeh exhibit.

lol Such high praise, thank you!  ;D >:D

Heh I like a number of his works. I have been asked if we would do a Cthulhu themed haunt just this past season. The answer is YES! if we had the funds for it..or someone else wanted it.  It would be such a labor intensive prop theme it would need a LOT of time and effort..doable but only for the right price. ;)
