Sorry to hear about the lack of visitors to the Halloween attractions, and the difficulties building the Stegosaurus. Anyway, the Deinonychus looks great!

I'm happy to see that you're still working, even if it is at a slow pace. :) I hope that you know that everyone here congratulates you for creating that amazing park in your backyard... it's astounding! You are a very good guy Blade. I know you can finish that Stego.  :D
like a bantha!

Oh "Ray" will get done for sure. We just had an offer of a donation of some material finally, I just have to find a truck to go get it...might end up having to rent one.  :/  I don't drive so even getting materials is a huge headache...ugh

I'm really glad you enjoy our work here. I hope to keep making them for the foreseeable future!

Just watched that guy's video. Your place is looking better and better all the time! It was great to see some of the smaller attractions, like the eggs and babies in their natural surroundings.

And congrats on the new materials for Ray the Stego. Really looking forward to seeing this big finished with your choices of colors and patterns!

heh thanks!  I'm still not 100% sure on what the color scheme for her will be. I really do like the idea of a black/white coloration though.

Hmm, black & white. As simple as that sounds, it actually might look really cool! Look up some pics of Lace Monitors. They have some really cool patterns in b/w, with just some hints of colors here and there. Might give you some ideas. 8)

Blade-of-the-Moon

Cool, will do!

My initial inspiration was Dan's copy of Shane's Triceratops with a similar color pattern..I really liked the idea. Very bold and for a critter this size it won't be hiding..at all. lol

Seems risky given how easily confused ppl are by what is & isn't a dino.

We have a sign explaining what a Dimetrodon is.  ;)

Is it a big sign that says "WARNING: NOT A DINOSAUR"?  ;) :P

Basically lol

It still gets called one though. Same for the "pterodactyls".

Meso-Cenozoic

Hey, I like that Trike! Got me curious to see what was already out there that was similar to this coloration and pattern, but on a Stego. So, I ended up finding a half dozen decent pics. LOL!

I really like this one...

This one's pretty nice...

I think this is the same one but in a slightly different pose and a bit lighter, so you can see some of the finer details better...

And here he is with a bud in his "natural" surroundings...

I also think this might be the same one. But I really like the shot. Get a load of that thagomizer!

OK, last one. This one's definitely different. I like the subtle hints of color on him and his rosy-colored throat. If his plates look a bit out of focus, it's because I enlarged some. Hehe!
I hate Stegos depicted with plates that are just too tiny! And they're still a little small. Haha! ;)

Blade-of-the-Moon

That top one is pretty awesome!

Our shop mascot J. Bones , he really enjoyed his trip to Jurassic World this past summer...can you tell? lol

That is a really cool T-shirt.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

they have em' on margaritaville.com :)

Wish they'd had some signs and stickers and such.

Still no re-supply on our vinyl skin material, but we've decided to go ahead and use what we have and cover what we can. The frame has been out in the weather much longer than I would have liked anyway.

Adding some skin along the neck and chest.

Doing our best to seal up the top and keep the rain out..not really succeeding.   You can just see Stan there in the back.

Kayakasaurus

Have you ever had a problem with moisture getting trapped inside? That Stego is going to be awesome!

Not really overall.  The bottoms of the feet are open so moisture can escape that way. I've also taken to making a small hole in the lowest part of the piece's main body so any built up water can drip free.

The worst so far has been an accumulation in the Rex's lower jaw. I had to cut a small hole in it and insert a plastic tube piece to drain it. Much like an abscess.. lol

I hope so I'm still foaming the plates..and getting those in the right place..ugh
