Wow nice stuff You actually inspired me to try and improve my own stuff (it's very hard to inspire me  so you should get a gold star for it)  :D

Shaping up to be a real beast! Keep up the good work.  :D
like a bantha!

Blade-of-the-Moon

Will do bud!  A beast is right..this guy weighs more than any other similar sized dinosaur we've ever built due to using better, heftier materials. Will be more sturdy and last longer I hope..but it needs a team to move it..lol

That sauropod is looking good!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

They were 20.00 bud, but the booster has ended :  https://www.booster.com/backyardterrors?type=zoom&side=back

I'm not sure if they sold enough to get printed or not.

If I may ask, do you have any details on this carve-able foam you use? I'd be very interested in trying it out to make custom terrarium and diorama backdrops.

Lanthanotus

Looks like polyurethane foam to me as it is used in construction work to fill gaps of door and windowframes for example. Used it myself to make an Alien wall deco once, but while it's easy to work with (despite you've got to throw almost anything away that's in contact with the foam as long as it isn't hardened, though there's specific, but expensive cleaner solution) the cans are quite expensive, at least here in Germany.

The brand I use is called Great Stuff : http://greatstuff.dow.com/

It is quite messy and takes a little practice to work with.  I'm not sure I'd use it around anything living...at least nothing that might consume it, it does smell  til cured.  You can spray ot with water to cause it to skin over quicker.  There are also other varieties of it, even ab outdoor version that retards UV better

Have you thought of getting a hotwire knife? I am sure the carving part would go a lot smoother.

This kind of foam is actually heat resistant, any attempts to cut it with heat causes it to darken and char and stick to the tool.  It's resistance is key though since we apply the vinyl skin over it with heat guns that get very hot.  mostly i carve with blades of varying sizes, thicknesses, and styles.
