lol it doesn't happen very  often around here either..I imagine it's quite a spectacle for the unwary child.. ;D

Jetoar

Great work!. Your Albertosaurus is the best of your dinos from my point of view. I like it.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

I like the colour schemes on your dinosaurs, they're attractive but not overly bright or flashy. I also like how you painted their teeth yellowish colour instead of bright white, which is a mistake so people make :)

Do you have a big garden to put all these guys in?

Thank you very much, I'm really proud of Gorgo. :)

I'm trying to do new and different ones all the time..I have a stegosaur that is weighing on my mind for  a bigger piece next year.  Last night I started cutting out framing for a Struthiomimus...I'm thinking it will the first one I will try to add some actual feathers to..not just proto-feathers and spines.

Thanks. I'm trying to do more color but keep it realistic..kinda hard to do really. ;D

Yeah ! To my knowledge you never find pure white teeth in nature outside the occasional bleached skull. I think a nice pale yellow and some tarter buildup is needed..especially on carnivores. ;)

I started with a side yard..which has expanded to the front a bit. I actually have an big wooded area on the property but it's pats are all dirt and it's not fenced in.  We have deer hunters shooting across from their property all the time and occasionally they enter ours to hunt as well.  I can just see one of them thinking a tyranosaur tooth would be a really cool souvenir to take home...or worse case it would good target practice. If I get the funds together, I will eventually fence it in, add lighting, sound equipment  and pave the roads or at least add gravel.  I really want to start my own dino park at some point..some day I will ! ;D

My very best wishes towards such an endeavour, Chris. I really hope you see your park come to fruition.

Thank you bud, it's deeply appreciated.

I know I keep talking about it a lot..but it helps me keep aiming toward the goal you know ? heh  ^-^

As long as I can I will keep making them...as Gary Owens once said to a shocked Eric Boardman : Gary : " I need MORE dinosaurs.  " Eric : MORE dinosaurs !? " Gary : " Eric, you can never have enough . "  ;)

You know, I had a thought the other day. What if someone could build a dinosaur park by paleo-artists ? Can you imagine what they could turn out ? Mind blowing I tell you.

Generalizations will get you nowhere.. lol  ;D

Actually that's probably about as close as be had with such little info..anyway. It's a Struthiomimus !  ^-^

Takama

You gonna make it featherd  (no worries if not) and Active? (again)

As of right now that's the plan. I hope to have it in a running pose, mouth open.  The feathers might more hair-like over most of the body..( I have to experiment ) might have larger feathers on the arms though.

I'm still not sure exactly how much of the body should feathered..I'm thinking along the lines of the CollectA Deinocheirus.

ZoPteryx

Great work on these Blade!  I suspect lots of visitors will ask where the Dilopho's frill is though!  ::)

If you do give the Struthiomimus feathers, are they going to sculpted them on or are you going to use actual fur/feather/hair stuff?

Since I plan to use the JP Dilo paint scheme for this one  I did consider making a removable frill for it..still might.. ;)

I will be using the same vinyl I use for spines, quills, scales , ect.. for feathers. Real ones, I suspect,  would hardly stand up outdoors for too long . :/

Wow! Very good! The Sturthiomimus feathers are very wonderful! Great job! Love the Kentrosaurus and the Dilophosaurus too!

Blade-of-the-Moon

Thank you. :)

The Dilophosaurus is almost done..I just need to finish adding his spikey bits...then he can be painted.

The Struthio I wasn't entirely happy with how the feathers were turning out. They really looked to much like King Ghidorah's scales..lol So I went back and split them..making them smaller and appear more numerous.  I'll post a new pic later.

The Kentro I will be finishing the head on and maybe work on plates and spikes but he won't be done til next year in full I feel.

And..I'm working up the nerve to start my Allosaurus as well.. ;D
