Wow!  Big Al is...big. ;)

Yep ! ;D  Overall he's the most massive one I think..I need to get a tape measure out and see just how big he is.. ;) I'm thinking sub-adult / adult  for an average Allosaurus.

Some updated progress shots of the Allo :

I'm runny VERY low on vinyl material and looking hard to find more so my progress has slowed a bit in areas that required it.

Parasaurolophus frame work :

Blade - Do you charge admission to your park, or is it just a labor of love, open to all?  You sculpts are getting more and more accurate, that Allos head looks absolutely perfect.

Have you looked into options to make the musculature more prominent on the legs?  Isn't there some soft, light material (like styrofoam?) you could layer between the skeleton and the vinyl skin cover?

Currently it's open to all , free admission, I do have a donation box though for any that feel it was worth it. :)

Thank you very much.  I'm pushing myself to be as accurate as I can be..( I keep hearing from locals I should make a putt putt golf course..  :P ) . I worked a lot of the head of the Allo..even cutting off parts and redoing them til it looked right.  :)

I would like to show the muscle more, but my method of attaching the vinyl uses a lot of intense heat..it would melt most styrofoams. The other issue is that the vinyl material basically shrink wraps the parts.  It's very difficult to impossible to wrap areas and get slight indentations...with just a little too much heat you would completely erase it. :/

re-posed the left front leg of the Para today after noticing in the position I had it in it would be broken..lol  I think I confused the shoulder blade or something getting in a hurry.

Looks like old Struthio is on the back burner

Blade-of-the-Moon

He's done, but much like the Kentro he has to wait til it warms up longer to be painted.  I might give him a go this weekend supposed to be warmer for 3 days in a row I think.  I've already got an idea of what his paint should be though.

Had to run outside in the dark just a minute ago to photograph the neck work on the Para I got done today..looks like I went too long with it.

Oh, just call it an individual variation. Save yourself the trouble.  ;) :P

You know me..too detail obsessed..lol  So I fixed it. ;D

Truth be told, if it were me, I probably couldn't have rested til I had altered it too, ha. It's coming along really well.

Thank you. Yeah when I notice something is incorrect it gnaws at me til I fix it..luckily this time I noticed it before I got so far along I couldn't make alterations.
