In the 250-million-year evolutionary history of turtles, scientists have seen nothing like the pig nose of a new species of extinct turtle discovered in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument by a team from the Natural History Museum of Utah.

Reminds me a bit of a Fly River or Papuan turtle, just exaggerated somewhat (and with an extra strut on the nasal bone). I'd like a figure of this guy, but given that we still don't even have a good Proganochelys, it's probably too much to hope.

there's a possibility that a Japanese brand might make a figure out of this sooner or later.
