I've got a couple requests:

Collecta Thalassomedon next to WS elasmosaurus

2017 Safari Ltd Feathered Tyrannosaurus next to Collecta deluxe feathered Tyrannosaurus (really surprised no one's asked for this one, I'm hoping to cast them as mates, does anyone know which one would be a better male?)

I believe the bent flippers on the WS Orono aren't warping, they're a design choice. It's meant to look like it's mid-swim.

Now that you're pointing it out sounds kinda plausible, the stock photos seem to suggest that. Although we should see pictures of the actual prototype to be sure, I seem to remember someone said the catalogue images of this year's Safaris were taken directly from early production samples, so it could be a defect from the factory which affects more or less all copies. If that's a deliberate choice I don't know if it's a good idea, were marine reptiles able to curl their flippers like that while swimming?

CrypticPrism

Plesiosaur flippers were probably pretty flexible, and many marine reptiles and mammals can do it today, so I assume so.

It didn't look intentional to me, but maybe it is. Humpback whales are almost as flexible:

but plesiosaur flippers are constructed differently; I'm not sure how that would affect their flexibility.

It's a Photoshop comparison (a compositing work)  from my Flickr Album ( https://www.flickr.com/photos/130140542@N03/albums/72157662009883073 ).
It's based upon my "Hans" reference, the Schleich human figure at 1:40 (he's in every picture I shoot).

Here's a photo of the Thalassomedon and Elasmosaurus, but the Elasmosaurus is much closer to the camera, so don't be deceived. The Thalassomedon is longer by about 6 or 7 cm and correspondingly bulkier.

This is more of a "which should I get?" question ,but I don't want to be spamming new threads everywhere, so here's a question: CollectA Moropus, CollectA Daeodon, Collecta Andrewsarchus, or CollectA Lythronax?

Maybe I'm biased, but I would say Andrewsarchus. The others are good, but what I really like about CollectA's new Andy is that it's very up to date according to current thought about what it may have looked like, more so than I think any other, with the possible exception of Vitaly Klatt's more aquatic looking one.

Okay, thanks. I actually came upon that decision while folding clothes about 20 minutes ago, just because it's a wolfippospinosaurus. I think it'll be fun to take photos of it in this small pond at my grandparents'(it's more like a large puddle that looks like a mini marsh, but eh. It'll look nice.) house later this month.

It's also a great figure, the only thing I don't like is the mane.

I like the mane myself since their closest relatives were entelodonts, which I think of much like giant warthogs. Check out the Klatt one - it's very hippo like, though with an inexplicably long tail. It's hairless, so hippo or mangy wolfbison, take your pic.
