....... Im not sure if this one is the premade model or a kit.

It looks like a premade version to me. Didn't only the premade models come with these wooden bases. At least mine all did. The kits I bought didn't come with bases.

That Dinoland model was won by me  :)

Great stuff Jim, lucky you're fabulously wealthy  ;)

Only kidding.....

Not wealthy at all, this was a present for my 31st.

Was pulling your leg mate. Happy birthday by the way. Got an unmentionable big birthday coming up soon :-(

Thats good as i prefer the premades but still the colour is a bit weird being blue as i thought they were only painted brown.
Still it's a nice change though.

In this picture (posted by BrontoScorpio) the model behind the Brachiosaurus I think is that Tyrannosaurus :-\ .
Isn't it also blue?

Jim, it would be cool if you could show your Dinoland collection here:

It's the Tyrannosaurus but im not sure on the colour either. It kinda looks a little bit blue as well as brown.
When my blue Tyrannosaurus arrives i'll take some photos of it plus some of the other models not yet shown.
I'll also try for a group shot of them all.

ahahaha... yeah

G1 Dinoking tends to be very expensive. Even the individual components tend to go for a high price on ebay international.

I don't suppose you mean the SEGA 'dinosaur-king' -
They got some very nicely built figure sets.

and as for those , I would not have touch it even if it was available for just 1$ -
but, who am I to tell someone else what weird things should he collect ? ...

CityRaptor

You see, those guys are the Decepticon Dinoforce. Their shells open to release their inner robots, which then combine into a super robot. Just to give you an idea how sought after they are: There are also bootlegs of them that go for lots of money.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Now, when I think of it -
I do remember something from back far in the past -
the TV series where infact very cool -
but the figures look, to me at least, very dull.
and these are not real dinosaurs, so ...

I see now another of those fiction Dino Kingdom.
But this time it's a nice LEGO for kids -
and also the price is sane, for 60$ :

OK, It's officially a weird day :

I know how important for a collector to complete a set, even with the most minor things -
but 65$ for that :

This is a beauty :
The world's largest pterosaur Exhibition Limited Edition Museum model Quetzalcoatlus - Colorata
I have never seen before a boxed item.
Never the less, 130 $ ....

ITdactyl

Re: Quetzalcoatlus

So that's what the boxed set looks like.  I wonder if the base can still be bought somewhere.  I got mine from a former member who bought it off monster house.  Felt bad for a few hours having to pay $20 USD for just the pre-loved slightly scuffed pterosaur (no base), but I guess it's better than $130.

sauroid

how much does this Favorite Pteranodon cost these days?

I got mine off Amazon about a year ago for about US$16.

RobinGoodfellow

The official price on Favorite web-store is 1728 Yen (more or less 16USD):

;D He. he, I got it for 100 $ less (a few years ago).
Besides mine it's also the first time I see a boxed one with its original base.

Does anyone see any apparent reason why this lot went for 450$ ?
( to a professional seller who probably hopes to gain additional profit) .
I have no idea :

Aren't some of those boxed Kaiyodos, like JP, Chocolasaurus and Dinometal, rather rare?
