This is not ment as an affront or to insult you, but I am honestly curious..... how come your dinosaur sketches look so top notch and skillfull while those sharks look so rather underwhelming in comparison? I understand it's differnt technique (colors, probably other pencils) but if you had just presented all those sketches next to each other, I'd have guessed, those sharkes are from a few years back.

My apologies if this sounds overly harsh, but I am really curious as I admire your dinosaur paitings (as written few times before). Nevertheless, intersting choice of species, I never heard of any other than Helicoprion, let alone quite a few of those dinosaurs.

Because when I do colored pieces, I don't do as much detail(as I believe the color is the extra detail.) I do the sketches in pencil and go over it with pen before coloring. And I agree with you that they don't look as good as my full pencil work. It may be that the pen is too thick?

I'm very sad Shark Week is over.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Sauropelta

You're much more detailed than I am drawing. I see your art is inspired by https://www.deviantart.com/cisiopurple/gallery/
Sauropelta (Meaning 'lizard shield') is a genus of nodosaurid dinosaur that existed in the Early Cretaceous Period of North America. One species (S. edwardsorum) has been named although others may have existed. Anatomically, Sauropelta is one of the most well-understood nodosaurids, with fossilized remains recovered in the U.S. states of Wyoming, Montana, and possibly Utah.

I only used his work to get the armor arrangement on the Invictarx.
