Nasutoceratops and Sauropelta were my top two so I'm glad to see they both placed. Also glad to see the Battat Tyrannosaurus on there, it should place in every poll it's included in if you ask me.

And I'm proud to have reviewed two of the winners. It would have been three, but someone decided to review the Sauropelta even though I had said I was working on a review for it.  :P ;)

For the record, I do not recall ever seeing a post in which you said you were working on a review, but that was before the Reviewers' Forum was set up.

That's why I was so adamant about a reviewers forum being set up. But I did state that I was working on a review, it was in my post where I shared my Nasutoceratops review. But yeah, I don't expect you to have read that post. It's all good now.

Oh, I believe you; I just didn't see the post. And the forum has turned out rather well, I'd say. :)

Thank you all who voted for my pieces and congratulated me, it is appreciated. I decided to vote after the video came out just so I could see the actual results. I couldn't see the final numbers without voting. Is there anyway to make the results visible in these polls without voting?  I prefer not to vote when my pieces are involved but my curiosity won over.

It is possible and I've changed the poll settings so now anyone can see the results. However, I prefer to keep the results hidden during voting to avoid bias, so I'm only changing the settings because the video is done.

If the votes change considerably over the next year or so I can create an updated video... :)

Personally I think the votes should be locked in right now, for no reason in particular. :D

I guess it will :).

I have also just voted for seven figures.
Two more votes go to Favorite Turiasaurus riodevensis and Paleo World Studio Eryops megacephalus, which sadly aren't in the competition.
I think it's fair to exclude them since REBOR/Sideshow/etc. are also excluded.

???
No, they're not.
My bad, they always had been in the past. I specifically recall reading somewhere about excluding REBOR because they so adamantly marketed their products as statuettes.

Rebor wasn't excluded from the top 2014 figures poll either: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=2003.0

They were excluded from the Top 10 Tyrannosaurus toys poll, because those were exclusively for toys and Rebor doesn´t really count as a toy. I think this is what stargatedalek means.

Since this poll was about the best figures and Rebor was suggested, it ended up on the list.

Pretty much.  The exact reasoning for why Rebor was excluded from the top 10 Tyrannosaurus and the top 10 pterosaur polls, while Kaiyodo wasn't, is explained in Reply #129 here: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=2932.msg83090#msg83090

I was just pointing out that Rebor hadn't always been excluded in the past, and that Rebor was in fact included in 2014's top figures poll.

??? Your missing the point here...
Technically, if they don't have any points of articulation, they all are statues.

It's just that most other companys don't advertise them as such and also don't ask statue prices for their figurines.., where rebor does exactly that, and that's why they where excluded from certain previous polls.

If they and Sideshow where included in this poll than the Favorite Turiasaurus most certainly should have been as well, I know I would have voted for it if I had the chance.

sauroid

7 out of 10 i voted for are in the top ten. i shouldnt have voted for sideshow because they are not popular enough, and instead should have voted for the ws yutyrannus and the battat t.rex

I didn't even know you could vote for multiple dinosaurs until after I voted! :-[ Well, at least the one I voted on made it to the top 10 list! It's the Schleich Kentrosaurus, which is a suprisingly good figure for Schleich. It's definitely my favorite Schleich along with their Pentaceratops.

The yearly top tens are all inclusive free for alls - nothing is excluded. The specific top tens are organised in more restricted 'leagues'.

amargasaurus cazaui

So now that is clearly and fimly laid to rest..I am curious and perhaps off topic but does anyone watch these polls and surveys and derive a plan of action for the future from them?
I generally think like this....you watch a poll like this and say..well lets see, the top three that were chosen are this one and that one and so forth. Suppose I just grab a half dozen of that one and this Nasutoceratops and toss those in a box in the cabinet for ten years....knowing they will eventually become impossible to find and the more loved figures will become in demand...by example, consider the Torosaurus from the Sue and Friends set, or the old school Battats or Invictas etc. Someday I will perhaps be able to walk those out there and land some nice things in trade...or sale. Who knows? Anyone else catch yourself doing this sometimes? This aside from and nevermind for a few of these models that were chosen..I get a stock one, one that Martin repaints, perhaps even an autographed one...for my collecting as well.
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

What you've described is how I'd understood it to be.  Maybe this wasn't clear in my posts.  I wasn't suggesting Rebor (or Sideshow) should have been excluded from the top 2014/2015 figures polls.  I was showing that Rebor and Sideshow's inclusion in this poll isn't unprecedented as stargatedalek thought, since Rebor was included in the top 2014 figures poll.  Now that you've confirmed it, it will be clearer though!

I just check the video, glad i have some of them :D and yesss my favorite one is on the video, rebor acro.

Paleontologist James Kirkland had some things to say about the WS Sauropelta on Facebook. I'm trying to get more details, but I just may have to go back and edit my review somewhat:

Neck rings, shoulder spine, lack of caudosacral plates. The AMNH has 3 nearly complete ones, that when supplemented with the Yale specimens document everything.
