Isn't that nearly always the problem with child characters?

I actually meant that the depictions in that movie are even more outdated.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

JURASSIC WORLD 2---James Cromwell (LA CONFIDENTIAL, THE SUM OF ALL FEARS) has joined the sequel cast in an undisclosed role.

JURASSIC WORLD 2---a source released the reported synopsis for the sequel which involves military use of dinosaurs as weapons. Universal Pictures did not confirm the synopsis, but the original movie had Vic Hoskins trying to weaponize the dinosaurs for the military. Hoskins died in the movie, but Dr. Wu survived and may continue the plans started by Hoskins.
Earlier, a source earlier denied the rumor that the plot involves dinosaurs trained to be super-weapons and are used in a war.

"The adventures at the Jurassic World resort and theme park continue as the government has trained dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes."

Eh, that has also been one of the earlier rumoured synopses for Jurassic World.

I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend

I love Dr. Wu as the "man behind the curtain" role.

If that plot line story is true I predict that it will mark the end of the franchise.  It shows a complete loss of imagination.  Might as well be "Carnosaur XIV" with glitzier special effects.

SEE: Dino-soldiers mutiny and run amok, about to finish off the hero and heroine, when - "WHOP" - they are "taken" by visiting "Predators"!!! Excitement, Gore, - Boredom.

*SIGH*

Still better to have an entertaining if mindless b action movie than a wanna-be philosophical disaster.

If that truly is the synopsis, then I wish nothing more than for it to be the end of the franchise. It'll be out of its misery.

Super Dino soldiers would never work it's like the line in one of the Batman movies about how the government thought the value of a soldiers life was not equal to the Bat armour suit. Seriously genetically engineered dinosaurs versus humans in a non movie scenario sorry folks but the soldiers would just shoot the dinosaurs it's how humans are at the top of the food chain they are simply the most destructive predators the planet has produced.

Well, one of the earlier drafts for Jurassic Park 4 had these guys:
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend

You know the site B island is a nature preserve. That is what I remember from one of the movies.  So is the new movie going back to site B or is there a site C now, where they have the freaks Wu made. I feel like they are done with the Park island or they will just rebuild it. I sorta wish we could have seen more of the park, because in the last movie we stayed there for a day. Don't believe me watch Jurassic World again.  Lol

If we believe the Dino Hybrid picture book, there are tons of Hybrids roaming the park right now.  ::)

Yes and the draft was scrapped immediately once the studio saw these pictures. I highly doubt they´ll recycle this idea now.

I know.

Don't get me wrong--I like a good government conspiracy movie, but I seriously wonder why every action or thriller movie franchise has to involve a government conspiracy at some point. It just seems at this point that if the producers just want to work on a cash cow franchise but have no plot in mind, they default to "welp, there's a government conspiracy" and call it a story.

That said, I'm in the minority, and probably a very small minority at that, but I'd be all for a movie about genetically engineered dinosaur-humans provided that the story was told in an interesting way. If the Jurassic Park franchise took a shot at it, I'd probably go see it, since I find the idea of dino-humans rather appealing, though I'm not sure I'd expect high quality out of any modern JP spinoff, since, let's be honest, they've long abandoned clever, relatable stories in favor of gratuitous CGI and hyper-kinetic sequences.

Having Indominus Rex was ok I guess but having dino human hybrids would be the death of the series for me. I watch Jurassic world to see dinosaurs not ugly freaky mutant monsters.

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

The irony is strong with this one.
