That is a good question. Good thing I only want two of them: the Terror Bird and the Mastodonsaurus.

Museum Market? So does that mean they will be available in German Museums? Visiting a few next month.

The Mastodonsaurus is at the top of my list as well, along with the Deinotherium. I've never cared much for their Diatryma (Gastornis), I have the Kaiyodo one and I think that's good enough for me. I'll probably end up getting it anyway. Despite what "Everything Dinosaurs" says the Diatryma was not a terror bird or a ratite and terror birds were not ratites either.

Oh yes. I always forget that detail about Gastornis. So far I have neither a Gastornis, nor a true Terror Bird.
Hmm, them being limited seems to be true, as looking at Urzeitshop today, all the prices went up....maybe one of the Museums I visit next month has one of them.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

If you need a Gastornis I highly recommend the Kaiyodo figure. I got mine on eBay for $5 or something like that. Cheap and well made, you can't go wrong with that.

dang, that Mastodonsaurus is huge

CityRaptor

:o That epxlains why it is so expensive.  I always wondered why it costs more than the elephants.

Except that it's a Schleich figure...

I also hope for some of those they had only for one year, like the Liliensternus and the Batrachotomus

Maybe if this release does well then they'll consider re-releasing those.

Eh, chalk it up to a brain fart I guess... lol

Really it probably goes to show just how little I collect from these two companies.. :/

Hello, everyone,

as far as I know the prehistoric mammals including the Mastodonsaurus are NOT regularly reissued by Bullyland, that's why you can't find these figures in the 2012 Bullyland catalog.
So, if Bullyland sold the last piece in their stock they are extinct again.

Now let the run for these figures begin. ;-)

By the way, you can order the prehistoric mammals at www.urzeitshop.de too.

Unless I find them next month, I think I might actually order the non-mammals from you...

Also a Question: Do you know why it took so long for the CollectAs to arrive?

Hello, CityRaptor,

the distributor from where I order the CollectA figures received his devlivery pretty late.
That's why it took so long.

I know this is the 2012 thread but could this toob set be a possible 2013 safari item (scroll down and you'll see the Cambrian Age Sea Life toob, this is one of Safari's sculptors).

Link?  Picture? Anything? You know it will kill us not to see it!

I edited my post and it's on there. But here's the link again:

We must have crossed paths.

It could be a new toob--or a proposed one. I recognize several of the figures, but many have not been released.  The 'figures' in the image look less detailed/real than sculpted figures--almost computer rendered or something.  But I want them anyway!

I know I want them too! Yeah I think these might be the unfinished prototypes. Also on the animals page there's a cave life toob as well:

I believe Melissa posted the link to that website some time ago, though I can't recall if all the same pieces were shown. I wouldn't mind seeing that Lambeosaurus as a figure.
