I almost bought it already, but I'm waiting for the folks from ED to find out if there's cheaper shipping services. This baby costs a lot to ship.  :-\

Interesting thing is, it's a whole British pound more expensive than the 1:15 scale T-Rex. Could it be, these 1:15 scale figures are not in scale with each other and the Trike is even bigger than we suspected? I would really like to see some comparison pics, but so far nobody here has bought it. If I end up being the first to get it, I'll have to provide such pics myself.  ;D

Maybe you could ask the shop for a pic ?  It could be just a bit more in mass department whereas tyrannosaurs were lighter built..it could also just be more solid.

Horridus

I might get it at some point, but at that sort of price it's hard to justify buying it over a smaller, but much more accurate resin model. That, and space concerns.

Of course, I have no such grievances when it comes to big, orange JP tyrannosaurs. Because they roar. Yes.

You could at least have gotten that one in three different colour patterns. I'm personally not fond of orange (despite being Dutch), which also doesn't help this Trike matter.

That does surprise me a great deal. Next you'll be telling me you don't like liquorice and small, strong cups of coffee. (Er...like me.)

I have spotted the Repaint for the Deluxe Triceratops in a nearby toy store :) I will post pics later

The Argentinosaurus is really nice, def one that deserves a Deluxe treatment. Of course the Deinocheirus is mind blowing..place it beside a 1/40 T-Rex and you'll easily get the idea..this thing was BIG. Not to mention quite dangerous with those wicked looking claws. The bonus for many will be the whole animal screams " I'm a BIRD  ! "  while being a dinosaur as well. lol ;D

I really like the Tylo for all it's retro-ness ..the body looks like a big monitor lizard with fins instead of legs. :)

Horridus

Thing is, the Deinocheirus is a bit big for 1:40 scale. Maybe a 1:35 or 1:30 T. rex? Doesn't really diminish its size much, though...

Dan

I'm not sure if maybe some tail curling is causing dimension variability on the 1:15 Triceratops, but these are the dimensions I measured myself:

26" L x 11" H
66 cm L x 28 cm H

Pics to follow.

Horridus

That's big. Please do post some comparison shots with smaller figures (or one shot with it and other Triceratops figures together!).

And if possible one with its Rex counterpart.  ^-^

Sorry, I don't keep the big Rex on hand, as it's rather... well, gargantuan.

SBell

Did you get one in the box? If so, do you have the measures of the box?  I have the T.rex ones, so I could compare that (again, since the stupid Canadian suppliers have once again taken way too long to get me anything yet this year).

Himmapaan

Wow, that is huge.

I recently got the Argentinosaurus too, Chris. I think it's one of their best sauropods. My very minor complaints would be that the scales are too big and its expression... a little on the 'derpy' side.
