It is really sad when children feel the need to sue people.

It's a profound reflection of the sheer depravity of the Schleich brand, that even those so young should be spurred on to take legal action against them. It' a responsibility no child should have to bear, but to hold that Allosaurus in one's hands, to feel the bitterness of disenchantment from all that is good and pure in the world (of dinosaur toys), how could even the innocence of childhood ever hope to subdue the need to find justice at any cost?

How is Schleich continuing with their business if they keep getting sued left and right by the children? Are they winning all the countersuit cases? So many Allosaurus (v1, v2, v3, v4 ) have robbed these children of their collective innocence.

Those seem very cheap! Are you sure those aren't placeholder prices?

Last year I bought the three Papos from there, the price I payed for them was listed well before the figures were actually in stock, and still is the same. Shipping costs within Europe are also reasonable, didn't check for the US or elsewhere though.

Those prices must be wrong... 3.40 euros for the Basilosaurus, 9.60 for the Dimorphodon? Seems simply too good to be true!

New toob is 4 euros cheaper than the previous toobs. That's suspicious for starts.

Shonisaurus

Too cheap. It would be great if all the stores sold it with those prices. The savings would be epic and memorable in our pockets.

The price drop didn't seem to make it to the U.S. 9$ for most of collecta's standard smaller models.

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

Bad news if your in the U.S. Collecta's 2017 models may not arrive till fall or later unless you know somewhere else to get them from early. Copied this from an email from the dinosaur farm.

"HI Nolan,

Apparently not.  They switched US distributors in October last year, just as we submitted our final order for the year.  The new distributor happens to be a company I already deal with, so I was okay with the switch, but they don't seem to know what to do with the Collecta line.  At first they weren't even sure if they  were going to carry the dinosaurs.  I talked to my rep and told them they HAD to carry the dinosaurs, so they sent me a list of some of the dinosaurs and asked me which ones I thought they should have. I told them that the list they sent me was only half of the dinosaur line and they should just carry all of them.  Haven't heard back from them yet, but it doesn't look like they'll be ready before fall at this rate.  Stay in touch and I'll let you know when I know more.

That sucks. I was planning on getting the Gigantspinosaurus, Einiosaurus, and Regaliceratops. I guess I'll have to wait.  Lol

Blade-of-the-Moon

Dejankins had a source in Europe he received shipments from at a slightly increased price,  I don't think he was going through a distributor.  As far as I know he still think next month he'll have the new pieces.

I think I might just shell out the extra shipping cost and get them from Reptilia's German retailer up there... If the ones I want come in stock. The Regaliceratops and Gigantspinosaurus are both listed at about $2.74 in USD!!

EDIT: Checked US shipping fees, and they are unfortunately very, very high. *siiigghhhhh*
Once a man is tired of dinosaurs, he is tired of life; for there is in a dinosaur all that life can afford.

I hope more American retailers do this. If the demand gets big enough, perhaps Breyer will finally see reason.

They have updated their prices...the Kronosaurus is now 3x more expensive LOL.

Turned out the prices I linked a few posts back weren't definitive as people suspected, my bad. Still a good option if you're looking for the smaller figures and the Dimorphodon. Kronosaurus is very pricey though, at this point I might have to postpone the purchase later in the year.

Shonisaurus

The price of uintatherium seems a little high considering that it will be the same size as the arsinoitherium from the same factory or perhaps less.

Sigmasaurus

These all look very nice, I wish to own them all (Which will likely NOT happen) By the end of 2017.

Bokisaurus

Look what just arrived! ;D
More photos later, but they sure are beautiful figures! My only complain is that CollectA has made their new standard figure much smaller that previous one! I kid you not, but the ceratopsians are half the size of their predecessors, just slightly bigger than the mini PNSO figures! :-[

Sorry for the crappy photo, better ones when I have more time ;D

Oh, that is rather disappointing to hear.  I like having a herd of similar-sized ceratopsians.  At least I am warned before mine arrive. (And I shall still order them.)

That Styraco looks HUGE. In that picture, especially next to the 1:40 Deinocheirus
