Am I the only one who doesn't really care about the human actors? Sure, it'd be cool to have Goldblum, Neill and Attenborough back...but I'm more interested in the dinosaurs.

Actually, I care about the actors, at least in the sense that they should be good! Bad acting can ruin a film. Just look at the recent trailers for WWD ;)

QuoteWe may have discovered some potential storyboards and/or concept art for the upcoming Jurassic World. This is a bit of an odd case and we aren't 100% positive the following images are from Jurassic World, but we strongly suspect that they are. Now, before you assume these images are giving away something from the plot we should say it's very unlikely - if they are from Jurassic World they are tied to the leaked concept trailer, which was to be part of an integrated experience to help bring the world of Jurassic Park back to life. As such, this art would be from around 2010-2011, and would predate Trevorrow's involvement as well as the Jaffa/Silver script.

We have been sitting on these images for almost 2 months now, and in this time we have yet to definitively identify them. What we can say is they share similar origins to those involved with the Jurassic World concept trailer, and we suspect are tied to that project. Further, we also discovered this piece of concept art, and while we aren't sure it's from the same project as the storyboard panels it is equally suspect.

We are open to suggestions on what the art may belong to if not Jurassic World. Dinotopia is a project that comes to mind, and while this art came after the live-action mini-series it is always possible there was another film planned which never came to be. While we haven't been able to get confirmation (or denial) on the artwork, we strongly suspect it belongs to the proposed Jurassic World reboot project.

As always, take this with a grain of salt. While we know this material is not fake, and belongs to a movie involving both humans and Dinosaurs, we cannot guarantee its involvement with Jurassic World.

Its interesting.. I wish we could be more certain if this was Jurassic World, Dinotopia or something else.

They got a tough job. They really messed up JP3; Spinosaurus killing Tyrannosaurus wasn't shock value; it was a disgustingly transparent -and extremely weak- attempt at audience manipulation.
I lost respect for JP at that time for pulling such an utterly cheap and amateur stunt.

This next movie - I'm not going to until the reviews come in. Raptors with guns? Forget it. Don't even need a review.

If Jurassic World is even considered just "bad" it will be a huge step above the trainwreck of a film that was Jurassic Park III.

I agree with you, but be careful of your language. Could you please edit it possibly? Thank you!

Thanks, Balaur. I have to second that, fleshanthos. I have seen that some of the members on this forum are as young as 10 years old, so let's keep a filter on.

No worries, the mutant Dino stuff has been long thrown out. This movie will feature real Dinosaurs... well, real Jurassic Park Dinosaurs.

Those drawings are from Iain McCaig.  They are from his art book called Shadowline, and are from a very old, defunked Dinotopia feature.

Cool to know, the art is fantastic! I never even knew there was another attempt at Dinotopia.

I think Columbia was originally interested in making in a major motion picture.  I still have hopes someday someone will.  I really wanted a skybax toy too... lol

Sony first tried to make the feature.  Must've been back in 97-98?  They did a test with the talking Protoceratops, lots of preproduction art.  Tony McVey did a quests sculpt...That version was canned.  Hallmark picked up the property after and did the first mini series.

I saw an underwater scene with some fish. Possible marine reptile? :-\ Could be legit though.

At a glance it looked like footage of a whale to me but it was difficult to tell what it actually was. I think this is fake, some of the scenes look lifted from the original movie.
