Let's make a new word for it.

Fictionally accurate: when a creature is considered accurate due only to the fact that it has no living form, thus, could not technically be wrong.
Examples: unggoy, freaky tri jawed Spinosaur

:)
I may not like feathered dinosaurs and stumpy legged Spinosaurs, but I will keep those opinions to myself, I will not start a debate over it, I promise. 😇

I bet.

A fps (first person shooter) form a few years ago. My brother and his friends used to play it.
Here it is:

Em aging that face, but shorter and deeper, that's what the dog things looked like, even having teeth between the head halves. It looks like some sort of genetic oddity.

I think the "split" head isn't really a split but more like how a snake exposes it's fangs while striking :

That makes perfect sense since it was said to have a snake-like head.

This thing is clearly part tremor.

You can clearly see the face peeling open.

I would have liked the main Dino to be a real tyrannosaur, even if it did have *shiver* feathers.

I can really see the resemblance to snake jaws now
I don't find the split entirely implausible,  considering the vast difference in jaw flexibility between snakes and theropods

Nothing's plausible about this movie freak. This is going to ruin the jp series for me.

You know that isn't actually it, right?

Still, we're being given some "d rex" mutant.  :'(

True, I don't really care though. I'm not going to see this movie anyway.

I might rent it on DVD, that's it.

The decision to ignore everything that is now known about dinosaurs is what I think ruined the movie. From then on every single bit of news about the film make me think even less of it. Up until I found out that the mosasaurs had crocodile like scutes, I was planning to maybe rent it just to see those. They really seem to have taken every chance they could to ruin the movie. Although, I seem to have been one of the few people who wasn't really all that excited about it to begin with.

I thought they were snake like scales?

Real mosasaurs were.

Ok.

Are they making the JW one gator like?
Yeah, you didn't see that? Here's the silhouette that revealed it first:

There are a lot of reasons to watch and or like a movie aside from its scientific accuracy. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss "Jurassic World" with how little we really know about it. To say you won't see it when a trailer has not even been released is a little premature I think. I'll no doubt whine about the accuracy too when it comes out but what I really want from this is a good movie. You know, the kind with story, character etc. The kind of stuff that generally makes a movie good.

Yep, gator like.

Is that a brachiosaurus with the head and neck of an apatosaurus?

That head really looks nothing like Apatosaurus, I'm thinking maybe that picture is either Brachiosaurus or Camarosaurus.

I may complain about them being inaccurate but they are still great movies,  in fact my favorite movie is the original JP
accuracy is not a necessity,  its nice to have, but if its not accurate so be it, its still a cool Sci Fi movie with fictional dinosaur mutants
