I'd love to see more pics of your Valkyrie! It's indeed a pretty rare aircraft in modelling world.

As promised, here the North American XB-770 Valkyrie that I compared to my Lockheed SR-71A Blackbird for size comparison :)

Chapter 02 of this collection is underway, the empty spaces above the B747's on their display stands will be used for Chapter 02 of my upcoming B747 Collection expansion project.

My dad knows a company that will custom make me 16 glass shelves  for this cabinet and dad will measure and drill the needed holes for the new lass shelves, with that I can add an additional 16 B747 diecast models.
For a grand total of 48 scale 1:200 diecast Boeing 747's :)
The first one of these new sixteen B747 models has already been reserved and should arrive on my doorstep around April 28, 2020, maybe earlier, which is this one:

B747 01#16

Boeing 747-287B
Aerolineas Argentinas "Delivery Livery 1971"
LV-OPA
Scale 1:200
Inflight 200

This one I have reserved at Arcunia, this will be my first B747 of the second Chapter of this B747 Collection.
LV-OPA was also done in dedication of the 20+ Argentinean friends that helped me within my x-3dfx community at Facebook, so more like an honor to them, also a good way to start this second chapter right :cool

How come I have not been here yet?! Wow, enormous and great collection!  Do you also collect brick built models of airplanes?

hah no idea man, but thanks for your kind comment tho :)

And nah only diecast metal scale 1:200 Boeing 747's  per model they average for around 150 a 170 euro's each, the e raer discontinued limited edition can range from 140 to 150 euros easily, about 5 of my models are in that range.
Those are the most challenging ones to find and obtain A they are discontinued and B they are a limited Edition, a pain to find but once you manage it , that generates lots of goosebumps haha xD
the same when I had when Collecting my last set of Dino Riders in the years 2012 & 2013 Mint in Box Valorian Pachyrhinosaurus + Atlas (Rare German Version) & Mint in box Rulon Quetzalcoatlus + Algar (Ultra Rare Spanish Version) , extremely hard to find units but once you manage the feeling of excitement is insanely high :)

SidB

Love those big metal birds; but I have to say that the Carnegie Safari Tylosaurus in the foregound of the Dino collection sure still looks awesome, a real work of art by Forest Rogers.

Hey thanks SidB  :)

And yeah I can agree with you on the Carnegie Safari "Tylosaurus proriger" there , still one of the best Tylo's made I believe, unless there is a slightly updated one?
I also have the Wiid Safari Ltd Tylo with the Kaiyodo Tylo's, they are quite small but still neatly made  8)

Your Wild Safari Tylo would be the update, so you are up to speed on the current understanding of the species. Nevertheless, one really can't top the Carnegie for the quality of the sculpt.

Tylosaurus

Oh okay ,well that solves that one then, yeah I actually chose it due to it's high accuracy ratings, I think I read a review on the Dinosaur Toy Blog many years backwhen this Tylo came out, it's a shame the Carnegie series are not around anymore tbh, they were pretty damn fine models, I rate them as models over toys to be honest.

JC Wings & Gemini Jets are that of my B747 collection, they have best accuracy rating, yet they don't have all the classic liveries I was seeking so Inflight 200, ARD Models UK & J-Fox Models Taiwan are very good alternatives, these use a cradle mounting method for their main wings this is rather an old method, so I still hope it will be replaced with a better method like how JC Wings & Gemini jets are doing just by mounting the wings on the side of the fuselage.

that as a example JC Wings/ Gemini Jets are like the Carnegie or PNSO of aircraft model collecting :)

EmperorDinobot

I think you might be my guy. I have a ton of aircraft miniatures from Japan, and I wonder if you'd like to take a look at them.

Hey all it's been a while I posted updates in this thread, got 38 scale 1:200 diecast B747's at  the moment and yes more will be added over he year of 2021  :)

32 B747's in the main display, the ones on top are old scale 1:72 model kits fro 25+ years ago, still got them had 80+  only 11 fro my old fleet survived lmao

The secondary display has some B747SP's and my SST's aka Super Sonic Transports like the Tu-144's & Concorde's and some other aircraft:

Here the tertiary display, three B747's in here always room to ad a few more, running out of space it sucks you probably can relate,it's the one fear for all us collectors no matter what ever the item are running out of space is never fun  xD

And the Gamma cabinet has my jets in it these are all scale 1:72, might add a Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk  and a MiG-35 Fulcrum F, if that will ever get released.

As the B747's go, they are the main interest for my aircraft collection, so today I Bought this one as the 39th diecast scale 1:200 B747 of my collection:

Boeing 747-406
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines "Delivery Livery 1989"
PH-BFA "City of Atlanta" "First KLM B747-400"
Scale 1:200
Inflight 200

Limited Edition 1 of 100pcs

In February this one as the 40th will be added, one I already have reserved:

Boeing 747-4F6
Air New Zealand "The Lord of the Rings - Return of the King Livery 2003 - 2004"
ZK-SUJ "Auckland"
Scale 1:200
JC Wings

Limited Edition 1 of 120 pcs

After Feb 24, the ANZ B747-4F6 will arrive.

There are times I reserve a discontinued model for even half a year, and when the time I buy it and that has gotten me some are examples.

As I did similar when collecting Dio-Riders via friends from ebay and the classic DR forums.

Hmm not sure man, no offense but since I live in the Netherlands the shipping + Insurance that with the custom taxes froma model from Japan would be atrocious for me tbh, I always try to buy my models within the EU boarder just to avoid those insane taxes and unwanted costs.
Thanks for mentioning I will gladly have a peek sure, I could help others in my B747 community to models that do live in your area.
