Since Photobucket rendered my previous collections thread virtually useless, it's time to restart with an all clean slate. Thanks to the bliss of Postimage (for however long that may last), I'm back in business posting images. Just for the fun of it, I'll post one pic per day, which still should be enough to keep me going for like three or four years. Let's see whether I can keep up this pace. I'll start with some general collections pics before providing more up-close looks.

Picture #1: A first impression of my not inconsiderate Jurassic Park action figure collection. Not a recent picture actually, but still...

I would hate to dust that even just every other year :D

Speaking of which, it's about that time of the year I should do so... Not my favorite passtime either.

CityRaptor

What a collection!

Just tell me where you live and when you are not home.  >:D ;) Kidding. But that is a pretty impressive JP collection.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

This could be the foundation of a JP toy museum.

It already is, informally.

Overview picture #2:

A cupboard full of Lego, books, comics and dinosaurs of all shapes and sides.

Another cupboard filled with comic books and dinosaurs, and some random geek stuff. I also have a cat as you may notice.

Another cupboard with lots of dinosaurs. I also have a decently sized movie collection.

Looks like you'd have to be pretty careful when retrieving movies!

Yeah, that's not as easy as once it was...

Lanthanotus

So that cat is well-conditioned,... or solidified with cement shoes?

Lots of stuff there.... I bet there's also some MotU and M.A.S.K. hidden there?

I was blessed with picking the most house broken and well mannered old cat in the asylum.  :)

No Mask or MotU figures, but there's an ample lot of other stuff all over the house, including Star Wars, Star Trek, Thunderbirds, TMNT, LotR and Thundercats.

Today's pic: Some of my most prized possessions and a lot of Papo (the one does not exclude the other necessarily).

Jose S.M.

Thanks for sharing your collection, it's very impressive, specially the JP "informal museum".

Here's a little tucked-away corner of the JP room for ya. My most prized possession is only just obscured, alas: a factory Kenner box (opened) containing no less than 15 MOC JPS2 basic dinosaurs. Also, a lovely little Tyco Brontosaurus.

CityRaptor

I see that you can save on other wall decorations.

Also lots and lots of extras.

Do I spot a lot of retirement provision there? :)

Possibly. You never know what the future holds after all.

Here's another cupboard with mostly Schleich and Tyco. And some non-saurian stuff, obviously.

Roselaar

Not as impressive, but here's an extra shelf I had to put up to accomodate the less than stellar JW figures.
