The bane of being a completist.

Yeah. And it's not even complete yet. Still missing a total of eight JW figures.

CityRaptor

Including the B&B versions of Indominus Rex and Blue, which I ironically own.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Roselaar

I only miss the Dimorphodon, the Pteranodon set and the six Hybrid B&Bs.

Anyhow, here's a shot of what my attic looks like these days:

A final cupboard, containing some dinosaurs but mostly other stuff:

Lanthanotus

Now that you folks get the idea of my living conditions, let's have a closer look at it all. We'll start off with a well known figure from the past, back when toy companies still bothered to design awesome toys rather than cheap junk.

CityRaptor

You bred Grants?

Is this the light or are some of those slightly Yellowing?

Oh, did not see them in the shot.

Oh, I see some 3-D Puzzles and an Imperial Godzilla in there.

These Grants are doing fine colour wise, but recently I've noticed an alarming trend of older Kenner JP figures yellowing. The TLW Chasmosaurus and Parasaurolophus have it particularly bad, even though they're not exposed to direct sunlight.

Today's pic: a set of Hasbro JP bootlegs, sold as official WWD Arena Spectacular merchandise. The semi-decent Stegosaurus however, is based on a sculpt from a different company.

Saw these sets at Universal a few years ago in their JP themed shops. Ironic coincidence or was there perhaps always animosity with Hasbro? :P

Roselaar

Today's item: box sets of various Chinasaurs and Jaru figures (bootlegs or the real deal?):

CityRaptor

Aren't Jaru Marx KOs to begin with?

Well, according the article, every source of UV will do and also it seems to be random.
I noticed the belly ( and only the belly ) of my Raptor Alpha turning greenish due to yellowing.

Same with my Canyon Rex. Not so MIB now...  :-\

Amd here's the WWD T-Rex. Also not a very good figure, but at least it's not a bootleg (as far as I know):

Roselaar

Another classic JP figures, plus clones:

I'll be away for a week without Internet access (I suggest you folks try that sometimes, too), so the one-pic-a-day routine will already be broken just a week or so into this thread's existence.  ::)

CityRaptor

Nearly enough Timmies to annoy all of your Grants. Also seems to be yellowing still in package....which makes it closer to the card art!

I'm back!

So here's a picture of a giant T-Rex model that looks nowhere near as good as its much smaller Deluxe counterpart. But still okay.

Roselaar

A Chinasaur Walkasaurus, bootlegged from Tyco's Dino Riders Stegosaurus. Fond memories of this one, as I was too young when Dino Riders hit stores, so this was my first motorized dinosaur.

Roselaar

Here's a few neat dinosaur themed comic books for ya:

Good memories!  :)

Don't know why the picture has turned 90 degrees to the left though.

Nice collection Roselaar, didn't know you kept collecting all these things, looks like some little obsession than an addiction tho rofl GG.
Mooi hoor, hou vol zou ik maar zeggen :)

Keep it up as I shall say :)
But there will be a moment that you will need to as in Option A to sell things to make space or Option B Make a Building in your back yard  just like a friend of mine did at the STS forums :'D
As my Dino collection goes kind of done collecting those, more in to scale 1:200 diecast & premium PVC Model airliners these days mainly Boeing 747's & Tupolev Tu-144's :)

Anyways I hope all goes well bud.

Roselaar

Bedankt voor de lovende woorden. ;)

I don't have a backyard, so that could present a real problem. So far, I've always managed to find space, somehow. But that won't last.
