Do we have a release date on these guys? I can't wait to grab that Giga and Bary.

According to www.minizoo.com.au will be available the news of dinosaurs Mojo 2018 among other figures in April, I pass the link to the page of that company. I suppose that in the rest of the dinosaur companies the arrival date will be similar.

I can not wait to have the baryonyx (one of the best on the market), the giganotosaurus (another great figure) and the deinonychus (it seems another very nice theropod) in my hands.  :P

Thanks for the link Shonisaurus! April cannot come soon enough. I will be keeping my eyes out for them.

with Mojo releasing their Giganotosaurus and also i saw a bf post about a 400 dollar commission Giganotosaurus sculpt done by a very renowned sculptor i cant wait to see how many more companies start to make theirs. This Giganotosaurus was definitely a pleasant surprise from mojo

mgaguilar

@SyndicateBias I'm really looking forward to this one since I absolutely despise the Schleich renditions. And there are basically no others except for Safari's Giga's.

Shonisaurus

Unfortunately, according to Jason de Minizoo, the news of Mojo will not be commercialized at least in this store until June.  :-\

My three favorite ones are theropods, deinonychus, baryonyx and obviously the giganotosaurus that is fortunately becoming popular in the toy market.  :P

It is the best year of Mojo even, much better than the year 2012-2013 where they revealed the great prehistoric mammals or even last year that revealed the two variants of tyrannosaurus rex and allosaurus. :)

Syndicate Bias

im.just glad they made a giganotosaurus, this year and last year we have been seeing more giganotosaurus models and toys than before

Carnosaur

Have any of the new mojo figures arrived in stores yet?

As the owner of www.minizoo.com.au told me in a message to my email, the Mojo figures will be available in June. In theory on that page says that they will be marketed in April, but it is a wrong message from that website.

According to me, Jason de minizoo will be available in June. In other years the figures were commercialized before, but because the new Jurassic Park film "The Fallen Kingdom" is going to be released on the big screens in June, all the toy companies are included, Mojo in this case delaying the commercialization of their figures for commercial reasons.

At least that's what I think happens.

Halichoeres

That's unfortunate. Hopefully the last few CollectA figures will be available by then too so I can order them together.

The sculptor of the 2018 Mojo dinosaurs has posted prototype photos, which can be seen in his gallery on Deviantart here: https://revenant-99.deviantart.com/

I think the prototype photos help give an idea of what to expect from the toy versions, especially for the Diplodocus which unlike the other three didn't get a close-up of the head in the pre-release images of the toys.

I also think the 2018 Mojo dinosaurs by this sculptor show an improvement from the two he did for Mojo last year, the Allosaurus and Tyrannosaurus.  The prototypes for these two can be seen further down in his Deviantart gallery.

I love seeing unpainted models - there is an ineffable appeal to them.

PhilSauria

Hope that a lot of that detail survives into the figures when they hit the shelves. These were already on my list and now I am really looking forward to having them in front of me. Thanks for the link to these images Sim.

Every time there is less to market the dinosaurs of Mojo 2018. My favorite figures are the deinonychus and gigantoraptor without denying that the baryonyx Mojo is fabulous. The diplodocus I do not think is as impressive as the rest of the figures Mojo 2018. I will buy it in order to complete my collection of Mojo.

In any case, the sculptures of baryonyx, giganotosaurus and deinonchus de Mojo are spectacular. I am very happy that Mojo is being placed among the leading companies of toy dinosaurs, although its genius has already been glimpsed with prehistoric mammals and tyrannosaurus rex (green and red) and allosaurus of 2017.

Always good to see the folks behind the sculpts!

Oof. I really want to like that Deinonychus, we really don't have any good representatives in toy form. But, this one's just repeating all the usual mistakes.

I hear you. The head looks great. The hands/wings and the lack of abdominal muscles makes me cringe. Things like this bother me even more than having no figures available because I almost want them, but I don't like looking at bad anatomy, so it just feels like a tease.

I feel similarly about the Baryonyx. It's almost good, but the errors are glaring enough to make me not actually like the figure.

Those average companies seem to be totally unable to give justice to the beautiful prototypes that are provided by the artists they hire. I'd be rather frustrated if I were one of them.

suspsy

I hope Mojo does some new prehistoric mammals for next year. Their previous ones have generally been excellent.

Honestly, these are the best Dinosaurs that Mojo has ever made in  my opinon. Reguardless of the Accuracyissues.
