Now I definitely need to pick that Battle Damage Pteranodon up. In fact I was actually hoping the Battle Damage Pteranodon would use the JW color scheme, since there was another one in the app aside from the roarivore that seemed to have it, especially once it was revealed that the new Legacy Collection one would not use the JW color scheme. I just hope this one has the ball jointed (?) wings that it looked like it had from the screenshots of the green and black styled one. I can't wait to pick it and the Gallimimus up now that they've been up for sale on the Walmart website. Only a matter of time before I spot them in store.

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy Thanks for sharing that pic.

Ok I see what they are doing. They gave the legacy paint job to the battle damage and vice versa!

And now I kinda want that battle damage Pteranodon....Damn it.

Someone asked in a comment on the review for the Battle Damage Tyrannosaurus what batteries it requires, if any. Maybe someone already answered in an email, but in case nobody did, can someone help her out? I don't have any of these so I have no idea.

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres That Battle Damage rex does not need batteries, because it is not electronic. The Battle Damage Super Colossal Tyrannosaurus uses batteries, but like with the other Jurassic World figures Mattel has done, it should come with information about which batteries it uses (like in the case of the Roarivores).

And some disappointing news for those in the US yet again (and possibly for those overseas). There was a livestream on Victoria's Cantina, and she confirmed that Amazon will not be carrying the Destruct-A-Saurs sets after all (at least the smaller ones). I was honestly really looking forward to getting the Velociraptor with Microceratus set, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to get that, since they seem really rare when it comes to ebay (and quite pricey). I already had to shell out nearly $100 just for the Spinosaurus once Target decided not to carry it anymore. If anyone here sees this and has access to these sets please message me.

TRU in Canada has only added the Pteranodon and Tyrannosaurus sets, disappointing for me since I wanted that Compy and Microceratus.

But I can get these sets with in-store pickup for anyone interested.

http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=148646826

Tyrannosaurus (online) price is $49.99 Canadian (~$38 USD), and the Pteranodon is $59.99 Canadian (~$45 USD). My work is pretty much next to the TRU so there would be no shipping cost from them to me (or cost of gas).

I ask that either payment is sent to me beforehand and a second shipping payment later, or that you order from TRU yourself with in-store pickup and forward my information to them for pickup confirmation, then send me only the shipping payment going from me to you.

The latter is certainly more difficult (assuming it's even possible, you may need to contact TRU customer support) but may save you some amount of PayPal fees as international payments with PayPal sometimes incur a $5 USD fee.

Anyone interested feel free to PM me for more details, but the website has a limit of five of each item per customer and I make no promise of doing a second run.

For anyone in Canada who doesn't live near a TRU, there are probably still better options as even though the website has a better price shipping may be fairly expensive.

I'm not charging for these, though I may be interested in splitting costs for a trade.

avatar_stargatedalek @stargatedalek Good on you for being interested in helping others with access to these sets (although I'm only interested in the smaller ones, that they don't have). Well here's to hoping they get to carry the remaining sets (if not Walmart in the states too, since they are carrying the Helicopter/Pteranodon one). I have heard that stores in Mexico (and possibly elsewhere south of the equator), have been getting them, though I don't know if we have any members here that have had access to them.

Honestly the distribution worldwide has been such a hot mess for these things (such as folks not having access to the Legacy figures, Battle Damage, and/or things like the Mosasaurus). I really hope this is not the case next year.

I just realized that I already have all the on-screen species that Mattel has made so far. I don't have the Sinopachyrhinosauroceratops yet, but it does not count because is not an actual Sinoceratops.
In terms of all the species from the toy line I'm just missing the Sinopachyrhinosauroceratops, the Microceratus and the Proceratosaurus. I said I will not buy the Proceratosaurus, but as always, I´m starting to reconsider it. With that said this means I only need a few repaints/alternative versions. I´m also not sure if I will be able to get a Destructasaur that comes with a Microceratus to get all the species form the line, given their current status...

Faelrin

avatar_MLMjp @MLMjp I have the Proceratosaurus. I mean it is kind of ugly, but I suppose it does have its charm, else I don't know if I would have gotten it (other then it being really cheap I suppose). I at least find the color scheme appealing on it. And it is technically film canon, even if it does not yet have an established film design. Same goes for the Metriacanthosaurus, although I don't know if I will actually get that one. The sculpt and color scheme does not appeal to me, even if it is a film canon species. That and there are still other things on my wishlist I am prioritizing.

It really is a shame that the Destruct-A-Saurs sets (some with the Microceratus, and there was also the set with the Compsognathus) will be so hard to get for most folks now. I can only hope circumstances change, or it is repacked or offered again in some way in the future.

Ultimately I nearly am in the same boat with you, with having nearly every film species offered in 2018, if I'm counting the Sino/Pachyrhino toy (and then some), especially after getting both the Battle Damage and Legacy Gallimimus figures today. Not counting variations, I only have the Legacy Dilophosaurus left. If I'm counting variations, then I still need the Legacy JPIII Velociraptor, and the Battle Damage Pteranodon (and additionally the compy that comes with the Legacy Malcolm figure), of the 2018 ones.

2019 will bring the Parasaurolophus, Legacy Tyrannosaurus family pack (with the buck styled Legacy rex repaint, and the baby T. rex repaint), the promised Brachiosaurus, and here's to hoping an Indominus rex as well (and a Ford Explorer to go with the Jeep), which is heavily rumored, which will pretty much complete my film species collection. As much as I'd really like to see an Apatosaurus too, I won't quite get my hopes up for it, especially not with the other two sauropods on the way. No point in getting my hopes up in toys of either Corythosaurus, or the Mamenchisaurus either.

I'd also like to see them design another Sinoceratops figure, that better matches the film design, but I can live with the Pachyrhinosaurus sculpt with the matching color scheme for now.

Here's my list I've been using of every species in the films, in a spoiler for folks to use as a reference if one so desires (of the film canon species toys that I have, the toys I have of a species are marked with a ~ next to it, and the species name is in italics if I have at least one of that species. For the ones with the little * next to a figure's name, it means I don't have that particular figure, even if I have a figure of that species. For the species that I do not have a toy of, their names are marked in bold. I also list the names of the films that particular variation of species shows up in, as well as some notes regarding my choices for things):

Spoiler

~Allosaurus (Roarivore FK)
~Ankylosaurus (Roarivore JW/FK, no JPIII version)
Apatosaurus (no toy yet JW/FK)
~Baryonyx (Roarivore FK)
Brachiosaurus (*2019 JP/FK mostly likely, doubt it will resemble the JPIII version)
~Carnotaurus (Action Attack FK)
~Ceratosaurus (Roarivore JPIII)
~Compsognathus (Legacyx4 TLW/JPIII/FK)
Corythosaurus (no toy yet JPIII)
Dilophosaurus (*Legacy JP)
~Dimorphodon (Attack Pack JW)
~Gallimimus (Legacy JP/TLW/JW/FK, Battle Damage JP/TLW/JW/FK)
Indominus rex (*2019? JW, edit: technically the skeleton should be here too from the Quest for Indominus pack that came with the Mosasaurus and Submarine, which was from FK, but I'm not really counting it as owning the species for now)
~Indoraptor (Super Posable FK, though *Grab and Growl has more accurate head sculpt, yet this one scales better)
Mamenchisaurus (no toy yet TLW)
~Mosasaurus (Real Feel Skin JW/FK)
~Pachycepahlosaurus (Legacy TLW/JW)
Parasaurolphus (*2019 TLW/JW/FK, though JW/FK version features more red and purple. JP and JPIII had green versions)
~Pteranodon (Legacy JPIII, Roarivore JW/FK, *Battle Damage JW/FK. No TLW version)
~Sinoceratops (Roarivore, though the sculpt is a Pachyrhinosaurus, and not the same species as the one in FK)
~Spinosaurus (Legacy Extreme Chomping JPIII)
~Stegosaurus (Action Attack JW/FK, not entirely based on the ones in TLW/JPIII but does fine as it)
~Stygimoloch (Battle Damage FK, Story Pack FK)
~Triceratops (Roarivore JP/TLW, not entirely based on the ones in JPIII/JW/FK, but does fine as it)
~Tyrannosaurus (Legacy Extreme Chomping JP, *2019 green/buck Legacy TLW/JPIII. *Thrash and Throw scales better and better represents the battle scarred rex from JW/FK, which is the same rex as the one in JP, but I don't truly need it, but we'll see)
~Velociraptor (Legacy TLW [the stripes aren't fully accurate, and neither is the head sculpt, but it is passable in terms of the colors], *Legacy JPIII [quilled male], Battle Damage Blue JW/FK. Additionally there seems to be a 2019 Velociraptor based on the JPIII white female, although it has some issues judging from the promo image. Time will tell. Still no Velociraptor that seems to be entirely based on the first film's female raptors either, in terms of colors, but the one in the Legacy 6 pack with Grant, etc possibly comes the closest for now)

I personally have made an excel document which list every figure that I want/have from the Jurassic World toy line. This list includes the wave which the figure is part of, an image, the name of the figure, the line it is part of (roarivores, legacy, attack pack, battle damage), the PVP, the price I paid for it and a "acquired" slot:

I also have divided the list in "Must have", which are the things I want to get yes or yes, and then the "Doubts" part, which are not a priority for me to get but If I can, then good.
From my "must have" list I still need the roarivores Sinopachyrhinosauroceratops and Pteranodon, the attack pack green Dimorphodon and orange Velociraptor, and the Legacy Gallimimus, Dilophosaurus and JP3 male Velociraptor. In other categories I still need Legacy Malcolm and the Legacy Jeep.

In my doubts I have things like the Destructasaurs Pteranodon with Helicopter, the destructasaur Velociraptor with Microceratus, or the Legacy bundle packs, I want the one that comes with Alan Grant, but of course it is not available in my country. If I cannot get anybody to help me to get it for something not too expensive, then I will probably go for the other pack which is available in my country. Again, I don't know if I will be able to get the things that I just mentioned. Also in this part of the list there are things that I find attractive but not sure if I need them.

For DTF members in Europe searching for Mattel Spinosaurus (avoiding Ebay' scalpers):

:)

I am still interested in obtaining the Spino if possible! I am in the US unfortunately.

The seller is in Germany and doesn't ship to US.
Is there a DTF member from Germany that could help mgaguilar ?  O:-)

Flaffy

so this is where all the spinos went... Thanks to a scalper grp called "Jurassic Fan Quest".

The spinosaurus has been back in stock at Target online for the past few days iirc.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I wouldn't say it's in stock, it goes up then out again every 30 seconds.  That said these scalpers are losing money already, the ebay prices have went down to about half what they were 60.00 or so.

Faelrin

Serves them right too. Honestly I don't think anyone was going to go out of their way and pay 6x the amount it is worth on Target's website, not including shipping, except a tad desperate few that also just had the money on hand.

I'm surprised Target has been stocking them again (especially after both Mattel and Target claimed they would not be stocked again), but at least that gives those in the states more chances at getting one for a decent price, even if they sell out instantly (though I don't regret shelling out extra for mine from a UK seller, since it at least guaranteed that I got it, and it was cheaper then the scalpers prices too).

The destruct-a-saurus TRex is out in Canada at ToysRus, as well as on the TRU website (and in stock).

Does anyone know if any of the minis are close to 1:72/76 scale?
