My simple opinions:
The Baryonyx is good
The Allosaurus is mediocre
I like the Metriacanthosaurus, except for the broken tripod tail

Looks fine to me. Animals move, and this isn't a dromaeosaurid with a stiff rod-like tail.

While some of these aren't that great, now I regret my knee-jerk "Mattel won't do much better than Hasbro" reaction.  That huge T-rex is amazing and I'm very tempted by that Allosaurus.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

Halichoeres

I'm not really a JP/JW collector (I don't think I experience nostalgia the way others seem to), but that Stygimoloch is at least an improvement on the horrendous Geoworld version, so I might have to pick that one up. Maybe even nicer versions will turn up if the movie increases its popularity.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

That huge T. rex looks awesome although the image is very blurry.

As my parents gave away my JP red T. rex, thrasher T. rex, and bull T. rex along with boxes of other dinosaur toys to charity back when I was serving the military,

I'm planning on getting that Mattel T. rex once it becomes available.

The smaller T. rex does look pretty odd, and the proportions are way off.

I've removed all the image links in this thread at the request of Mattel, Inc. - C:-) Admin

Interesting how fiercely Mattel is trying to protect its products. Hasbro products get leaked all the time, particularly Transformers, and they only ever seem to do a half-hearted job of asking people to remove images.

They should really use this as an opportunity to get community feedback.

Why do they actually think they can contain this at this point? Legally there is nothing they can do to punish people for spreading images that they themselves didn't leak. What, are they going to openly lie and claim that people they have no relation to are leaking products and try to have their social media accounts nuked? They could face serious legal repercussions for that.

I can see why places like JPToys are willing to go along with this, as they want to be on amicable terms with Mattel (as much of a long-shot as that is to be frank), but they have absolutely no leverage to control places like 4Chan or Reddit.

Enjoy the fact that they didn;t just shut down every website these showed up on while you can folks, before Mattel asks Universal to ask Verizon to cut all service to any sites showing them, since that's probably going to be legal soon.

To be honest, I'm surprised that so many people are complying with the request, which is not to say that that's a bad thing.

Being a fan of lego too, Lego ask every time to delete links and pictures in forums and blogs, don't mind it really, there is no real threat behind it's kind of a partnership between admin fans and the company. The risk for them is maybe to find some bootlegs too early after the release of the original...

I was asked politely and with no threat of legal action. I wasn't bullied into it. The respectful response was to oblige. O:-)

Precisely. But all my years spent online have led me to conclude that such decent behaviour is the exception rather than the norm.

My post about being sued was part in jest..but it wouldn't surprise me to be sent a polite formal letter/email to cease and desist...or else.  I've seen enough to at least think twice.  Since it was Mattel itself  that asked I'd say we are good for removing them.  We can still discuss it any rate. Toy fair is coming up too...

Choosing to remove the leaks when asked is one thing, but I have no doubt they could (and most manufacturers simply would) go so far as to bend rules to get anything they don't like taken down, and I don't think that invalidates my earlier comment of how pointless it is to try at this point.

Better damage control would be some sort of press statement, even a real teaser of some sort, they could easily make this hype for them and it sends a bad message when they instead just try to have everything taken down.

When this toy line is supposed to come out though?

So (happy new year btw) when could we expect the official announcement ?

Phoenix

As far as we know the new line will be officialy inveiled at the Toy Fair on february and released in late april

I just took a look at the new photos and these are disappointing in my opinion. They are an improvement from the ones Hasbro did but they still dont come close to the toys from the first and second movie.  :-\
