I understand what you are saying but humanoid/dinosaurs would push JP into the horror genre, especially if those prototype sketches are an indication of what's next. They resemble something out of Resident Evil. Again, I'm not saying its a bad idea, but it would be rather difficult to execute (while maintaining the JP ambience). It might work better if JP was handled by an indie director or rebooted as such.

I'm not too fond of the Indominus and Indoraptor backdrop, but it kind of works.

Im not crazy about the hybrid storyline Ive heard of(Ive seen the concept art mutant dinos and...urgh!) but you know I think a way it could work (for me anyway) is if it was done as a spinoff series of films separate from the mainline films but set in the same universe, just like Star Wars and Marvel with its million spinoffs. I think a series of JP franchise films with its own set of characters and tackling that specific storyline, it could work that way. But they need to rethink better creature designs, not just stick a triceratops head on a humanoid body, please no! :P

and Dino Riders, yeah why not, I can picture an alt universe where dinosaurs didn't go extinct and human civilization developed differently along side them. Heck, we weaponized elephants for a short time at one point in our actual history. I guess it would be like Dinotopia but the civilization went in a different direction.

so anyway I haven't seen a single JW:LK toy yet. :'( Went to TRU today again and nothing. Did see new Incredibles 2 toys. I havent been toTarget yet though so I should hit that up next.

Despite the differing styles, they actually go really well together. I may go full completionist on all the Velociraptors at this scale.
Hope future waves include Blue's fallen pack. RIP.

Also looking for:

And the breakout Raptor! The electric blue with bright yellow.
EDIT: Found it. It has battle-damage Blue's most-accurate sculpt.

But I'm sure I'll have to wait for these to be loose on eBay, due to the fact that I do not want to buy the whole packs.

Is there any way to just get the Microceratus? How many versions of 'Stiggy' are there? Is there one without battle damage?

Anyone here planning on mixing and matching the Fallen Kingdom toys with the REBOR raptors? ;D :)

Digibasherx

I might be alone in this one, but the raptors looks great except for the black eye the JP1 deco one has.  It's weird because they all have a rings around their eyes, but the orange one seems a bit off.  I can't pin point it.

As far as  I know the Destructasaurs are a TRU exclusive and no one has found any of them yet what the TRU closing .

Not yet, I just hope the Microceratus gets made.

There are 5 Stiggy's.

FMM36 Rip-Run (no tag)
FNB32 Battle Damage
FVJ90 Attack Pack
FVW29 Destructasaur
FMY84 Story Pack

Flaffy

Whew, while local TRUs have failed me (as they always do), local mom and pop toy shops have stocked all the released Attack Packs, the Indoraptor, and even the Legacy Rex in it's Legacy packaging!

Reptilia

Gosh, every day there's a new raptor by Mattel, how many of them they made? If I have to find a weakness in this toy line is that it's way too dispersive, the completist's nightmare I'd say.

CityRaptor

According to the app there are 11. Not counting the 3 Blues and Minis.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Reptilia

Thought I could resist since I haven't collected JP toys for over 25 years now, but I so want the Mosasaurus and the extreme chompin' T-Rex. Are they in scale? Or is it the thrash & throw the one in scale with the Mosasaurus? Anyone can provide a comparison picture?

Faelrin

The Thrash and Throw T. rex is the one in scale with most of the line, though the Extreme Chomping is still at a nice size (sub adult perhaps?). Not a picture, but there was this video review I watched the other day that compares the Mosasaurus with the Extreme Chomping T. rex (and Thrash and Throw). Perhaps it could be of some help (4 mins in is the comparison with the first rex):

Little heads up, CoffeeWithTheCynic is planning to repaint and sell some FK toys. They'll probably be up sometime next month

Flaffy

I wish there was a more effective way to get an entire army of Compies and Microceratus.  :(
Maybe they'll decide to sell them in a big bulk bag?
They honestly should've included these 2 dinos into the single-articulation blind bags minis with new sculpts.

terrorchicken

is there a non-mini Mattel raptor figure that doesnt have those huge feet? they totally ruin the figures for me.

The best you'll get are the Battle Damage ones. That is until Mattel decides to go all out and give us a super articulated Velociraptor  ;)

Brolyss4

Hello guys. I did a Sinoceratops custom over a Mattel Triceratops to make it look like the Sinoceratops that appears in the videogame "jurassic world:Alive", please come to the thread to see 20 photos of it, including the custom process and tell me what you think? I know the design in the videogame is horrible, but I choose this one to make it look toyish and stylized instead of making it like the Sinoceratos in the movie

Jose S.M.

I like it very much! The paintjob looks very well executed.

Faelrin

That's such a wonderfully done custom. Looks beautiful.

Great job! The paint looks very naturalistic (airbrush?), especially on the beak and horns.

Thank you so much guys

Thank you! Yes it is was airbrushed but hand brush techniques were also used for a nicer finish paintjob, horns are 100% airbrush
