Brontoscorpio - The Kaiyodo Dinoland Brachiosaurus is BY FAR the biggest model of the ones you listed.  It is MUCH larger than the Horizon Brachiosaurus.  (Someone once described the torso of that model as being "the size of a Beagle" *LOL*).

I built one up, customized and straightened out the neck and tail to give it a modern Brachiosaurus posture, and the best I can recall the length of the model along the spine, straightened out, was something like 54" (!)

Its on the last page of my website (linked below my sig).  Got another one in a box waiting til I can retire and have time to build it.....

Yeah the Kaiyodo Dinoland Brachiosaurus is probably still bigger as the neck does have a big bend in it.

About time too mate.

Great collection that's been hidden far too long Jim. No one has noticed the iguanodon in the bottom right.... Now that is both a beauty and a true rarity.

Looking forward to the next instalments and the rarity after rarity being unveiled.

And time for Chad to step out of the shadows too.

I noticed it right off the bat. Its a beautiful figure! Who made the Iguanadon? I cant say ive seen one like that before. A nice peek into your collection there sir! Can't wait to see what else you reveal to us :)
I'm seeking Orsenigo and other interesting vintage dinosaurs. Contact me if you can help with my search!

Im not too sure who made it, I have an idea but im not sure if it's correct. Anyway it's retro and very cool, that's good enough for me.
Steve aka UK found one in the Bristol museum if im not mistaken, there was also others from the set there as well.

Is it made of a plaster or composite material or is it a polhstone type figure? Very awrsomr and honestly oneof my favorite vintage reconstruction styles. :)

Im not sure what it's made of, it's quite heavy. It's from the late 70's so it's hard finding any info about it.

Question: what's that boxed Stegosaurus next to the piano?

Those Museum models are to die for, specially the Apatosaurus.
How  can one get his hands on those ?

First of all you have a great collection filled with freakin massive models!

But one question, what is that huuuge Brachiosaurus (aka Giraffititan) in the third picture?

Sorry to tell you it's a bootleg of the Wild Safari Stegosaurus. Not that I expected better from National Geographic.

Thanks for the answers. For a bootleg though, it looks pretty good!

... That Blue-ish Sauropod is one seriously BIG figure ... what's the story with that one? ...
The blue-ish sauropod is a Kaiyodo Dinoland 1/20 scale Brachiosaurus model kit.

I know it is similar ( I have both ) -
But it almost twice as big, the colour application is interesting enough and the head points to the opposite direction.

I would say the only way to acquire these would be to attend the museum when closed, avoiding the security cameras and borrowing them. In all seriousness, I would love to own these figures, gloriously retro and right up my street.

Jim did an amazing job negotiating for the iggy too.
