The unique looking Kokoro T-rex  -
Much more impressive than I expected it to be :

The Kokoro company ( ココロ ) deals with building life size robots for Exhibitions, Dinosaurs and others.
They made a miniature set maybe as part of an old exhibition at the UNESCO Village, Great Dinosaurs Exploration Hall (ユネスコ村大恐竜探 検館)(year ? ) :

Some boxed figures were sold about 20 years ago at the souvenir section of the National Science Museum :

so, this one join my other Kokoro on the Shelf :

UK

They look great but a little bulky too. Another space hungry series  :)

I Got some curiously looking Dilophosaurus statue that I stambled accross and decided it would be interesting to have :

The material is unknown to me , but, it is realy realy heavy.
Unfortunately, the heavy statue didn't make it all the way, as you can see :

Never the less, I would be interested in knowing more details about this piece - if anyone knows.
It's written J. Zepeda ( or Lepeda ) on the bottom...

A posthumous addition :

It appears this statue is part of the 'Limited Edition Dinosaurs' as part of the 'Nature Series' of  the 'Dannyquest Designs Collection'  and it's a 'Cold cast Bronze' ...

Then, The Official capsule figures -  with the full-color version :

Some papers announcements of the Exhibition :

And the leaflets\brochures that were distributed there :

A comparison shot of all figures ( excluding the skeletons ) :

And all figures found their place on my shelf :

Well, That's your right of course -
As I understand it - you are now into Big Chinese statues ...

As for these -
This year, they feel especially high qualitay at hand.
I find the  Mukawa Ryu ( むかわ竜 - A relative of the Saurolophus ) to die for.
And also the Deinocheirus as irresistable to the eye - with it's vivid colours.

At the Expo I ordered (by Brett) the 2 resin versions of these animals (created by the Kanna' artist):  http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=8012.msg235447#msg235447

It looks like Kaiyodo lost interest into prehistoric figures.. :'(

I was considering them also -
But, remembered that about 2 years ago there were also 2 Expo items of the Kanna center -
and few months later - those same items reappeared on the Kanna web store for about the third of the Expo price -
so, I think I better wait in th -is case as well.
Also, 60$ + fees looks a litle excessive -
And I don't quite get the difference between the 2019 T-rex and the version I already have.

The 4 Kaiyodo museum figures are wonderful :) . I also would like to have both versions of them.
It's good to see Kaiyodo still making Expo figures. The Takara Tomy years weren't that good.
Congratulations for that early catch :) !

ZoPteryx

Wow, I didn't realize the dino expo catalogs had so much info.  Really cool!

The display of the 2019 miniatures looks very pleasing.  The catalogue looks packed with information.  If only all museums produced such books!

Thanks.
I haven't looked yet at the fine print to see what museum is linked to the 2019 Expo Catalog.

There are indeed many nice Magazines, Books and Expo Catalogs,

many of which done by the National Science Museum and by the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum.
The lasy one has many publications - you can see the List Here.
Some are still Available at the online store.

Got my 3rd and last microraptor-like Mini PNSO I wanted to have :

  On to the Diorama :

The others just don't scale up or crudely made.
Innitially it was available just at the Chinese post set of 7 -
Glad I took the time and waited a bit ...

Libraraptor

Oh my, so many great stuff to find here in your collection thread! Congratulations!

BrontoScorpio

Thanks, you are too kind.
I should realy take the time to display my collection sometimes ...

The last of the Starlux Prehistoire I was needed - in order to complete my collection of the pre-K/T BORDER Starluxs :
( As I decided Not to collect any Cenozoic  Figure )

The 2 color versions Styracosaurs - I am amazed how heavily puilt they  are :

3 ancient Fish - I was astonished by the size of the 2 big ones -
Didn't expect them to be so heavily built and detailed - sure was a good surprise :

4 small mischievous Theropods - The Pachycephalosaurus on the right turned to be hard to get :

The 3 Pterosaurs - The upside down Pterodactyl turned out to be way more impressive than anticipated :

I see there's not so much care for old simple figures these days ...

I guess Everybody are so enthusiastic and exited over those new bright and shining Chinese brands.
