Just pile up some more stock :
Retro Classic Dinosaur Bottle Cap Series 1& 2 ( レトロ・クラシック ダイノソア  ボトルキャップシリーズ )
may create a mass display diorama soon ...

Got yet another 1/20 pre-made Kaiyodo soft Vinyl DINOLAND Triceratops :

Took these 2 small paleozoic creatures to add for the display Diorama I Aam planning with a big Orthoceras ( チョッカクガイ  )
Discover with gashapon! ( ガシャポン で発掘!!)
dinosaur fossil (  恐竜化石  ) by Bandai ( バンダイ  )
anomalocaris (  アノマロカリス  ) & trilobite ( 三葉虫  )

It comes in a set with 3 dino skeletons and  ・Anomalocaris ・Trilobite ・Ammonite ( アンモナイト) :

Next two were hard to get :

[Dinosaur Gallery] Dinosaur Desktop Series ( 【恐竜の島】恐竜デスクトップシリーズ )
- 1/48 Saichania (サイカニア) & Allosaurus (アロサウルス)

I joined them to my previous two dinos of that line, which I was able to put my hands on :

BrontoScorpio

Thanks, Yes it is. So now I have both versions :

And the 100mm unpainted collection is growing :

BrontoScorpio

Also along side was this golden Anomalocaris from

Gakken ( 学研 ) Strongest King Encyclopedia Series ( 最強王図鑑  シリーズ ) Underwater Strongest King Encyclopedia ( 水中最強王図鑑  )
- Anomalocaris ( アノマロカリス ) special color ( 特別カラー )
Joining the other special color I bought before :

Next 3 things in this lot are all items by the National Science Museum ( 国立科学博物館 )  :

- 100th Anniversary Commemorative Medal (開館100年記念メダル)
- anniversary (記念) world heritage (世界遺産) Tokyo (東京) National Science Museum ?? - building & whale (建物 くじら)
- THE STUDY ROOM Capsule Museum - no.9 Japanees Pavilion ( カプセルミュージアム - 日本館 )

of the THE STUDY ROOM museum capsule set of 9 from 2007, only 2 are ancient creatures - So, I am only interested in these three :
02. Futabasaurus restoration ( タバスズキリュウ/生体復元 )
03. Abnormal Winding Ammonite Nipponites ( 異常巻きアンモナイト・ニッポニデス )
09. Japanees Pavilion ( 日本館 )

First let the last one out of the capsule :

I would say it's the one consists of the most parts in this set :

All 3 assembled together :

I remind there is another National Science Museum THE STUDY ROOM set of 12 boxed items.
They are called THE STUDY ROOM National Science Museum :
'supervised series' ( 監修シリーズ ) ' Reproduction model of the museums' collection' ( 科博所蔵品再現 モデル ) from 2004
( no. 9 the T-rex was later resold with a different box ).

As you can see - these came in Boxes :

As for the 2 coins - they are quite something -
At one side the building itself :

The other is of the 2 most famous animals there -
The Futabasaurus and the blue whale at the entrance :

I think it's the heaviest coin in my collection :

You can see, in this building reconstruction, the live size blue whale model at the entrance :

postsaurischian

The Study Room figures are of timeless beauty ^-^  One must have them all!
There's a third ancient creature in the capsule figure series - a Futabasaurus suzukii skeleton.

BrontoScorpio

Yes, you are right - I completely take skeletons out of my scope ...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next thing in this lot is another Resin Garage Kit (  レジン ガレージキット  ) from the  'Scratch model collection' ( スクラッチモデルコレクション )
by 'Post hobby' ( ポストホビー ) dedicated to the characters from Afterman  ( アフターマン ) by Dougal Dixon.
This time :
The Tree Drummer ( ツリードラマー )

After cleaning and assembling you can see the Tree Drummer from up close :

With its chisel-like teeth and trunk-like proboscis :

As describes in the 1st picture - there are 2 options for the trunk -
one that is already inside the hole - and the one I chose which hovers above it

Be careful - an old friend tries to sneak up on you from behind ...

Just an archive pic I found online - for a coloring suggestion :

BrontoScorpio

Thanks, and there's still some more ...
Next2 things in this lot are these two :

Kaiyodo AQUALAND ( アクアランド ) Aquatic Animal Model Collection ( 水生動物モデルコレクション )
ARTPLA resin models by Shinobu Matsumura  ( 松村しのぶ )

- coelacanth (シーラカンス)
- Mascot whale shark (マスコット ジンベエザメ)

It seems there are two versions for the AQUALAND coelacanth :

I like this prehistoric fish - here are 3 versions by Kaiyodo ( 海洋堂 ) :

- AQUALAND Resin model ( described above )
- AQUATALES - Polystone model ( アクアテイルズ - ポリストーン )
- DINOTALES chocolasaurus #1  ( チョコラザウルス )  pvc model

I don't have and don't want the giant AQUALAND version :

Also I have the 2 versions for the AQUALAND small Whale shark - the left one is just ' whale shark '  :

Group shot for the two pairs :

Along with the AQUALAND manta-ray - these are my non-predatory cartilage fish :

Had to get a 2nd one :

One final shot of this odd family :

Earlier I received the set of AQUALAND predatory sharks :

- Hammerhead Shark
- Great white Shark
- Sand Tiger Shark

Got also the Kit version for the Great White :

And received the 4th and last of the small predatory sharks - Mako Shark :

final up close shot of my predatory group :

Final shot of my cartilage AQUALAND :

The other sharks in the AQUALAND collection are either big models or small bizarre sharks - as in this Catalog :

Just to mention once more my old AQUALAND collection already on the shelf :

closer :

Took them out for a final photo shoot  - Whales, Swordfish and Dolphinfish ( シイラ ) -

Took out my set of sword fish :
- Black Marlin
- Sail fish

I don't think the 2 different color schemes of the Sail fish are considered different model numbers within the AQUALAND collection ...
As you can see in this Catalog :

So why AQUALAND on Dino forum ? ...
To remember - the last item in this lot was this humble T-rex model from the DINOLAND series :

DINOLAND and AQUALAND are basically sister sets :

With models built by the same method and same artist :

They even appear next to each other on some Catalogs :

And since the DINOLAND series is my All favour ever - I let the AQUALND set in ...

BrontoScorpio

Some more fish from Japan :

Yujin (ユージン) Freshwater Fish Encyclopedia in Colors ( 原色淡水魚図鑑 ) Set I & II

Got this Collection Box (コレクションボックス)  to fill in :

I love those colorful boxes :

Alas, It came to me completely empty.
Need to make an effort to fill all empty places :

This is the best I could do with what I have :

And put it back inside :

Sadly, there is much I still miss :

And this is how it should eventually look like :

Fish from Kaiyodo will not help here ...

Crackington

Really enjoyed scrolling through the last couple of pages avatar_BrontoScorpio @BrontoScorpio.

You have a great Invicta collection, beautifully displayed and very eclectic recent additions.

Your home town pictures are great to see too. What a wonderful place to live with a museum, nature reserve and ancient city all nearby!

I think avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres needs to see your snaps of the Kaiyodo Aqualand and other fish figures, I'm sure he'll enjoy them!

Also just got this Collection Box (コレクションボックス)  -
Yujin (ユージン)  Japanese Insects Encyclopedia in Colors (原色日本昆虫図鑑) I & II  :

This Box is also beautifully colored and is considered at the top, as far as collection boxes go :

Thankfully, This one came fully pact including all secret and extended items :

Took them out for a clearer shot :

Also came with information sheets :

I Spread them over the floor for a group shot :

Then I remembered I already got some examples from these series on the shelf :

Took them all out - the displayed ones and those that were not - and even managed to trace down where I put their information sheets -
On the left - Set no. III
On the right - Set no. IV

Alas, I did not remember how difficult it was to assemble some of them in the first time -
and of course they disassembled in my hand in the slightest of touch

The butterflies and dragonflies are the best :

So I glued them back ( except for the tentacles - It was just too difficult for my poor eyes to locate again their designated holes )
butterflies from sets 1,3,4 - They look so real ...

Back in the shelf :

And there it is - the Tiny shelf that I keep for living animals - with all its glory :

BrontoScorpio

Wanted to put these following the previous posts -
but, alas, instead of arriving in 2 weeks it took exactly 2 months ...
so I waited ...

Yet because I have  my last and final colorful animal collection boxes ( コレクションボックス ) to show -
Yujin ( ユージン ) Crustacean Shrimp and Crab ( 甲殻類エビ・カニ ) Encyclopedia in Colors ( 原色図鑑 )
( 原色甲殻類エビ・カニ図鑑 )

The back side indicates the series go on - but I'm done ... :)

Inside - Informatiom sheets and models :

Models behind 3 different layers of plastic ...

This makes it clearer :

Got few of those crawlers out, for a photo shoot :
