BrontoScorpio

2nd Capsule set in this group :

As the leaflet says :

The Great Dinosaur Exhibition ( 大恐竜展 )  2024 Giant Dinosaur Exhibition ( 巨大恐竜展 )

The inside of the Capsules :

Kaiyodo ( 海洋堂 ) Kochi (  高知 ) Special Figure (  スペシャルフィギュア )

And there is also a special exhibition box set :

With four more dinos - the same sculpt - already assembled - different color :

Inside the box :

Took them all out :
- Patagotitan, T-rex, Triceratops

And the back side :

Some rearrangement certainly was needed -
Because I wanted them to appear next to the 2023 and the 2019 Expo figures - with the same feel and special box sets :

The flashlight emphasizes the dust much more than it actually is ...

Leyster

I'm still upset that the exibition featured Tyrannotitan yet Kaiyodo decided for the millionth Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops figures.
"Dinosaurs lived sixty five million years ago. What is left of them is fossilized in the rocks, and it is in the rock that real scientists make real discoveries. Now what John Hammond and InGen did at Jurassic Park is create genetically engineered theme park monsters, nothing more and nothing less."

BrontoScorpio

Let's face it - We don't really know what did ' Tyrannotitan ' looked like -
and btw they could have called it 'Tyrannotitan' instead of 'T-rex' and everybody would have been happy just the same ... :)

As for me - I am  already happy - as long it's a new different sculpt than the one issued at the previous Expo.
And if it's a nice looking figure - that's more than enough for me.

The 3rd and last Capsule set in this group :

These are not Dinosaurs - rather A group of 6 living marine animals :

'Nature Technicolor' ( ネイチャーテクニカラー ) NTC - Marine I ( 海洋Ⅰ ) Special Edition ( 特装版 ) Gacha ( ガチャ )

Unlike most capsule sets - each capsule has a different minibook - and what an amazing mninbook that is :

The back side for each animal :

Assembled and lined up - All have been issued before in different series :

Up close with the 3 colorful fish :

I was fearful there is no space left at my living creatures shelf - but thankfully there's always room for one last item ...

Arrived my First bunch of new wave of Resin kits :

My latest loot from the ' Wonder Festival 2024 [Summer] '  ( ワンダーフェスティバル2024[夏] )  at Makuhari Messe -

It is from several new makers - no Kaiyodos This time :

BrontoScorpio

And the 2nd bunch of the new wave of Resin kits ...

Also from the ' Wonder Festival 2024 [Summer] '  ( ワンダーフェスティバル2024[夏] )  at Makuhari Messe -

The last two Resin kits :

BrontoScorpio

The first two kits from this bunch from the  ' Wonder Festival 2024 [Summer] '  -

Belongs to the maker named ' Pine Village ' ( パインヴィレッジ )

Exhibited at the 2024 Wonder Festival -

One would be this small single part docile looking deformed Dimetrodon - standing on a rock :

Which actually reminds me a permian prehistoric amphibian - so I got me TWO of them - As they seem to be a socialized nice fellas ...

In comparison to some other Dimetrodons - Papo, Bullyland, Starlux, Invicta  :

BrontoScorpio

The other from the 'Pine Village' maker, Exhibited in the 2024 Wonder festival, is this 7 parts Resin kit Scutosaurus -

Clean cut and Very nicely made -

Assembled and connected in no time to its heavily built body -

Up and ready for foraging -

I don't suppose these two are in scale with each other ...

I'll keep my 2nd Scutosaurus in the box for now - one scutosaurus is more than enough to handle these two Dimetrodons ...

I don't have many Scutosaurs -

But these are the ones I found while browsing briefly through my shelves :
-  'Pine Village' , JP Kenner , Safari and Tedco/Cog ltd.  :

The next kit from this bunch from the  ' Wonder Festival 2024 [Summer] '  -

'Deinocheirus' -  produced for 'MOON ART DESIGN'  by Yuki Tsukimura ( 月村悠貴 ) of  'C.S. Model Design'.

It's a white Resin kit of 6 parts -

As with most modern kits - no particular problem while assembling it -

Amazingly - It has no problem standing on those thin legs -

The color suggestion by the maker - from the 2024 Wonder festival Exhibition -

The Deinocheirus Along with some of the other by Yuki - I already got :

- T-rex
- Saurolophus
- Deinonychus ( which was too deep inside the shelf - so I left him be and out of this shot ... )

And a group shot with some other Deinocheiruses -
- PNSO, CollectA, Kaiyodo 2019 Expo , Kanna center and some amateur made one :

First, Triceratops by C.S. Model Design (  Tanaka and Tsukimura )

Actually these two are 3D printed Polyurethane models - not Resin kits -

No assembling needed in this one - just some caution cutting off all these pillars - I task I was not custom of ...

simple and clean, something in the scale of 1/50 -

I think it's a good candidate to start practicing my painting skills  -

As painted by the maker -

BrontoScorpio

2nd in this bunch of the ' Wonder Festival 2024 [Summer] '  - Also a 3D printed Polyurethane model - not a Resin kit -

This T-rex by produced for 'MOON ART DESIGN'  by Yuki Tsukimura  ( 月村悠貴 ) of  'C.S. Model Design' -

Here after a thorough cleanup of all parts -

And done -

With the other side -

I like the fine details of those tiny hands

And these teeth -

Bare in mind it also is rather small - as 1:50 Scale -

Here also, as painted by the Maker -

In detail -

BrontoScorpio

T-rex by Tsukimura and Triceratops by Tanaka - both of C.S. Model Design :

Both are about 1/50 Scale -

Have been put together at the 2024 Wonder festival at the C.S. model Design show -

BrontoScorpio

Just to wrap up this subject - in conclusion -

The 3 new kits from C.S.  Model Design - as was introduced this year in the 2024 Wonder Festival :

And I have them all :

- Triceratops 3D
- T-rex 3D
- Deinocheirus

And the 3 previous kits from C.S.  Model Design - as was introduced last year in the 2022 Wonder Festival :

And I have them all :

- T-rex
- Saurolophus
- Deinonychus

BrontoScorpio

The next kit from this bunch from the  ' Wonder Festival 2024 [Summer] '  -
By kumomuseum ( MK ) studio

Comes inside one box - But is actually two kits - very elegantly crafted - with perfectly matched cavities and rods with holes to match -
Material is some kind of Polyurethane/Resin with just a litle bit of flexity -

First, is this 3 parts 1:100 scale Mamenchisaurus in a mini scale :

Assembled just as is :

And for the main course - This 8 parts 1:18 Scale Dakotaraptor ( ダコタラプトル )

Also in this case - all parts perfectly matched - no extra work is needed - and the parts won't even fall off unless I give it a small nudge ...

But, the jaw and two hands needed the extra cementing eventually -

When done and ready this is quite an impressive statue - with all the attributes of modern dinosaurs study  :

I like the way the dense feathers were made - although not as ravishing as my true Resin Velociraptor -

Just in time for their joint photo shoot -

Along came with this card and envelope -

Inside are 9 postcards of the coloured prototype -
3 portrait pics :

And 6 Landscape ones -

Actually, I saw online some mind blowing colors chemes  for that model :

Here, from the 2024 Wonder festival [summer] ( ワンダーフェスティバル2024[夏] ) -

And, of course , I need to pay tribute for two copies here on DTF by postsaurischian and  Blade-of-the-Moon .

It seems such a daunting task to put color on each of these feathers ...
There must be some technique I'm not aware of just yet.
But, I think this is definitely be one of my first attempts in coloring.

Sim

I've been going through this thread and I have to say I'm impressed, BrontoScorpio, at the nice and interesting models you've been obtaining, and how well you've talked about them.  I hadn't realised just how much is out there.  The Dakotaraptor in your most recent post is wonderful!

Crackington

Yes, I agree with Sim, thanks for sharing your collection photos.

Good luck with painting them too and look forward to seeing them at some point.

I hope you are quicker than me though - I have some half finished models to do from a couple of years back. They are out of sight, out of mind sitting in a drawer!

The next and last two kits from this bunch of the  ' Wonder Festival 2024 [Summer] '  -
One Big one small :

Both belongs to the "TOKYO MODELING" studio , which mainly produces restored figures of prehistoric creatures.
It states that 'The "garage kits" sold by TOKYO MODELING are all produced by TOKYO MODELING, from prototype creation to silicone mold creation, reproduction, and sales' ...

And for the Kits inside :
