Since "Jurassic World" did better financially and critically I doubt we'll see that happen. Fallen Kingdom is getting consistently bad reviews, I've watched at least a half dozen reviews for it on Youtube, all negative. Personally, I think I preferred it over "Jurassic World", and I certainly liked it more than "The Lost World" or JP3, but that's just me, apparently.

Yes,   but I heard its now the number 1 movie in the world now acording to a TV spot.

Honestly, I dont want a Sequil to the second movie. I hated the direction they have taken.

Number one can mean many things, It hasn't grossed as much as "Jurassic World" yet. It only just passed the worldwide 1 billion mark a couple days ago. "Jurassic World" also made more money faster (the first film to make more than $500 million in a single weekend).

Personally, I think I would prefer JA Bayona too, but I'm not signing that petition.

I also don't know where else the movie could have gone. The island thing was getting stale. "Jurassic World" got away with it because it featured a functioning park, which was new but another movie entirely on the island wouldn't have worked. The dinosaurs had to reach the mainland eventually, and the technology had to become more available worldwide as well. I'm really curious to see what the next movie does. It won't be anything like the other films in the franchise.

I still don't know if I prefer fallen kingdom than jurassic world. But I do prefer Bayona as a director. In my opinion a new screenwriter is needed. Trevorrow doesn't do it for me with this franchise. JW was a bit more cohesive but was filled with cliche. FK script was over the place but I felt some characters got better, still the same cliches reappeared, specially in the villains which were too cartoony for my taste in both movies.

Loon

Honestly I'd take Joe Johnston over Trevorrow again.

Appalachiosaurus

I like Trevarrow, he's a good scapegoat. Who would we direct the blame of every nitpick at if he's not there to take it?

Brontozaurus

I definitely preferred Bayona's direction to Trevorrow's. FK had a lot more memorable shots than JW did, and the last third of FK with the gang sneaking around the manor was the best part of the movie and more suspenseful than anything in World. But I'm not going to sign a petition that claims FK is more mature when it operates at the level of a terrible 80s cartoon show.

They have cloned humans and cloned dinosaurs. The next logical step  is merging the two. Dinosauroids, in accordance with previously scrapped concepts. Also, the return of Sam Neil and Laura Dern. And, Plesiosaurus. That basically sums up JW3.

A billion $ for a fifth iteration is actually pretty good.

Becarefull what you say man. Well its not its fault directing...its mostly the studio pressuring the movie, i read JP3 started shooting without a script!

Haha, It's more than pretty good, it's one of only 35 films to do so. I'm not saying it's not making money, I'm saying it's not making as much money as quickly as its predecessor. JW is the 5th highest grossing movie of all time. FK is number 25.

I think JW overperformed a lot due to nostalgia and the fact that it was the first movie of the franchise in 14 years and it's predecessors have very mixed reception, so people were very excited about a new one. People that make box office predictions initially expected JW to play like FK is doing. I'm not surprised of the dip in the grosses, I expected it to have a dip similar to The Last Jedi, a movie which predecessor was also very hyped and overperformed in a big way.

You can actually blame that one on Johnston and Spielberg, who rejected the script for JP3 literally a month before it was due to film.

Ironically I like JP3 the most out of the sequels; the others try to do something meaningful but never succeed whereas JP3 is just Grant and a bunch of disposable side characters getting attacked by dinosaurs for 90 minutes.

JURASSIC WORLD 3---Bryce Dallas Howard said she wants the next sequel to include cast members from the earlier JURASSIC PARK movies, "In terms of the third movie, the goal overall is to bring the entire saga together. It'll be the sixth film at the end of the day. For me, what I'm most wanting, other than an undercut, is for there to be more characters from the earlier films." Speculation is that Laura Dern and Sam Neill might return.

Appalachiosaurus

I know i'm in the minority, but I don't really want to see Ellie or Alan again. Ian was great because his inclusion made sense, but if they're just going to drag these poor old people around while Pratt and Howard do everything it'll just seem sad.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

Hey, they aren't that old. And Laura Dern has recently been in a big action film, (in which she was awesome in).
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

The Last Jedi? Thought her role was unpopular.

Anyways, here is a more complete coverage:
http://fandom.wikia.com/articles/bryce-dallas-howard-wants-more-jurassic-park-characters-in-jurassic-world-3

Also Bayona about JW3
http://fandom.wikia.com/articles/fallen-kingdom-director-talks-jurassic-world-3

Also Grant totally would rock a beard:
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Gothmog the Baryonyx

Her role was unpopular, but in my opinion she was excellent and the film as a whole was fantastic. I think she would be great in another Jurassic film.

So was Sam Neill, if you count that brief bit in Thor: Ragnarok.  :))

I wouldn't mind seeing them return in another film, but only if their roles made sense. I don't want them shoehorned in just for the sake of having them there.

Like Malcolm in JW:FK?

Agreed with them needing decent roles not just cameos. Unless the cameo is riding on a feathered Yutyrannus of course. :D

And of course better roles than in this comic:

Yep, that are supposed to be Sattler and Grant. And Lex in the middle.
