My review of the CollectA Eotyrannus:
http://dinotoyblog.com/2016/10/12/eotyrannus-collecta/

Despite my passion for collecting British dinosaurs, and that it's a unique species, I just haven't had the stomach to pick this one up.

I own it thanks to collector's compulsion, but I literally hide it on my Cretaceous 1:20 shelf behind better-looking figures. It reminds me of Rolf from the muppets, or a dog that put its nose in a beehive. (https://www.buzzfeed.com/erinchack/dogs-who-learned-the-hard-way-not-to-eat-bees)

Seriously, I like the figure. From pictures, it looks alright. Big ol' face, wierd body, broken hands, but I...I just like it. I like every dinosaur even roly poly ones.

So if anyone wants to rehome theirs for free to a good home....  :))

Haha I'm joking.
I mean, I'd take them. But I'm joking!  ^-^

And thus the blog is no longer safe for work. Kidding. It's National Geographic Nudity at best. Not to mention that I've seen neanderthal females wearing less in museums. I remember seeing a model of a completely naked one at the Neandertal Museum, thinking that she really needs to brush her hair. That's her:

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

That skull is definitely not a deer but some kind of bovid. I'm trying to imagine the howls of rage if someone made an equivalent error identifying a dinosaur skull.

Well, this is the Dinosaur Toy Forum, not the Mammal Toy forum.  Imagine the howls of rage if it was a the skull of a non-avian dinosaur... Judging by the skull, it is probably some sort of gazelle.

I has a similar thought process. It's clearly some type of antelope, those certainly aren't deer antlers.

And yeah, It's the DINOSAUR Toy Forum, but we deal with other prehistoric animals too, it is known.  ;)

I had a feeling that it was not a deer skull.   But im stupid when it comes to mammals. so i thoght i go with my best guess

Don't look at me, I generally just edit for spelling and grammar. But tomorrow, once I go back downstairs to my laptop, I will edit the review to simply say it's a ungulate skull. Till then, goodnight!

Not placing any blame, you did your part.  ;)

Lanthanotus

In my opinion that skull is artifical, made up by those Neanderthals, after all it bears some weird artistic freedom when you look how those antlers/horns are "grown" and where the teeth are placed....

Well, that's unnecessarily harsh. I didn't mean to imply that at all.

I did not mean to imply that you did imply that. :-[ I was simply stateing that I have little knowledge of modern and prehistoric mammals.
