Silvanusaurus

My God, that Retrosaurus line would be a dream come true!  :o Those all sound like great ideas, but the Retro line in particular is something I long to see materialise...

I would make firstly a Saurian-style T-rex.

Then I would make various feathered theropods, one I can think of at the moment that I would definitely make is a Leaellynasaura. I would love to make these, including the t-rex, in the Hezhe Huana style, with (fake of course) feathers and "fur" to represent dino-fuzz. Same with Pterosaur and their  filaments.
For those of you who don't know Hezhe Huana, they are a maker of hard animal models with soft fur. This is an example of one of their figures:

Then I would make an accurate Spinosaurus..

Accurate Plesiosaurs!

And then, more obscure or less popular creatures.. Such as early archosaurs, Longisquama, basal amniotes, basal archosaurs, Drepanosaurus, early dinosaurs/dinosaur relatives such as Spondylosoma, Nyasasaurus, Eoraptor etc.

Trilobites as well..

And synapsids! Including an updated more mammalian Dimetrodon.

About retrosaurs, I was actually thinking of that same idea! Some I would love to see, and actually want to do fan art of, are this "Icthyosaur":

This marsupial Pterosaur:

And the plesiosaurs of this video at 2:07

I forgot to add, I would make animatronic prehistoric animals too! I have always loved animatronics, making a robotic dinosaur series would be amazing! Perhaps as a more accurate version of a Pleo-style virtual pet.

In that line I would include a tyrannosaur, Velociraptor, a sauropod (probably diplodocus) a pterosaur, and a dimetrodon.

BlueKrono

Longisqiuama - Yes! And those noir-ish plesiosaurs/nothosaurs in that video are pretty boss too.

AcroSauroTaurus-

I recommend this reconstruction of Dimetrodon for Wave 4:

Bowhead Whale

I would tend to make unusual, not-so-well-known species and I would sell each of them with an information card.

- Cotylorhynchus (caseidae)
- Stagonolepis (archosaur)
- Odontogriphus (Cambrian animal)
- Sharovipteryx (gliding reptile)
- Placochelys (ancient chelonian)
- Bothriolepis (armored fish)
- Tiktaalik (legged fish)
- Dipnorhynchus (lunged fish)
- Doryaspis (armored fish)
- Mawsonia (giant coelacanth)

MoarCrossovers

The whole gimmick of my line would be selling lesser-known relatives of famous dinosaur species in 1:40 scale.

Wave 1:

Nanuqsaurus
Ostafrikasaurus
Tyrannotitan
Achillobator
Xenoceratops
Gigantspinosaurus
Morelladon
Ugrunaaluk
Liaoningosaurus
Australodocus

Halichoeres

I missed this post, but that is a strong lineup. You'd get plenty of my money.

My dinosaurs would be made like Eofauna's, where they construct a dinosaur model around a 3D model of a skeleton. They would be 1:40 scale, and be as accurate as possible. Each Dinosaur would have both male and female sculpts and colors. Each comes with an illustrated picture of the animal, and a QR code on the back which, with a specific app, you can scan, and you get a 3D model of the creature and some facts and stuff.

You know I used to be full of ideas, but anymore I'm just..good.  There is so much out there now i can't think of a single thing i would ask for that won't be made, eventually, by someone.

Halichoeres

Looking back at my contribution to this thread almost two years ago (http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=706.msg167469#msg167469), I note with dismay that of my 72 listed taxa, exactly one has been made in an attractive, affordable format (so, excluding plushies and expensive resins): Estemmenosuchus

At this rate, I extrapolate that it will be 144 years before they are all made into toys.

I like the  idea of a museum endorsed line, you can buy them anywhere but you can bet the museum will have all of them. They'd come in a cardboard box with either a missing piece or see through plastic to view the figure. The box could be any color, doesn't really matter. The front part would be the name of the company (cryo creatures sounds cool doesn't it) and the animals name.

                                            Cryo Creatures
                                 TYRANNOSAURUS   REX

The box would have whatever else on it maybe a scenic background or a picture of earth. The back would have some information about the creature and the line and the company. On the inside there would be the figure it's self (a detachable base may be included depending of the figure ) a poster, and a booklet about the animal.

The figures would be nicely detailed with plenty of scales and wrinkles. They would be up to date and scientificly accurate. They would be fun to play with, 1:40 scale.

The figures of wave one would be

T.rex
Spinosaurus
Carnotaurus
Velociraptor
Stegosaurus
Brachiosaurus
Edmontosaurus
Parasaurolophus
Edmontonia
Woolly mammoth
Saber tooth cat
Terror bird
Pteranodon

This took a while to write.
"Boy do I hate being right all the time."

A 1:40 Velociraptor! It would be very small but I would buy it.

Shonisaurus

I would make a total of sixteen figures each year.

Four of them would correspond to known dinosaurs, tyrannosaurus, allosaurus, triceratops and spinosaurus

Four more obscure dinosaurs, masiakasaurus, rajasaurus, centrosaurus and tarbosaurus.

Four others would be dinosaurs sauropods or prosauropods more or less known by the large public plateosaurus, giraffatitan, riojasaurus and apatosaurus.

The remaining four would be prehistoric animals, not dinosaurs Archelon, Pteranodon, Ambulocetus and Elasmosaurus.
