DR dimetrodon and tapejara showing up in stores

Knowing my luck I will have to wait until next month since my stores tend to get things late/last then other areas in the states. I doubt I will find the Coelurus and Herrerasaurus either yet, but I will try to check again Monday or Tuesday. In any case it is perhaps better they come out now then have to wait for April. Probably a matter of time before the Plesiosaurus shows up too.

Edit: Hopefully the Legacy raptor story packs are out in the following months. I at least want to see if the one with Muldoon is actually green or not.

I wonder what the dimetridon looks like compared to the primal crash "trimetrodon"

Your wish is my command.

Also, yes I did find both her and the Tapejara at Wal-Mart (Glendora, Ca).

Wake me up when the Dino Rivals stuff starts showing up in th UK.
WAKE UP!! I've seen a lot of it.
The Entertainer has the "larger" dino rivals, like the parasaurolophus, concavenator etc.
Smyths has the dino rival attack packs.
Both have the T. rex.

Wow, that Mononykus will be one of the few JWFK toys I'll be sure to get! Imagine the potential if only Mattel would say "Screw it!" and start feathering all the dinosaurs that are supposed to have it! Oh, and proper hands!

The Quetzalcoatlus looks relatively decent too. Pity that they went with the webbed look for the Amargasaurus' spines.

Not too excited for any of these other than the attack packs. Something just looks off about a piss coloured Quetzalcoatlus.

Amargasaurus: (colour scheme totally not inspired by the Chap Mei Amargasaurus)

Wow, I'm so glad they gave the Mononykus some feathering on the tail and arms, as not only does this make this the first Jurassic toy that has feathers (outside of the one chaos effect hybrid), but they are actually following the design of the Mononykus from the film (the statue in one of the manor's diorama's). I can't wait to pick that one up.

The Mussasaurus is looking adorable too (reminds me of the podlets from WWD). Both of these are species that are under represented in toys as it is (and for Mononykus the BotM one was the first I think?).

Nice to have that JPIII raptor sculpt not go to waste. I might will have to get this one if only to eventually repaint it. Shame it did not have the color scheme though, but again at least it isn't too hard for me to repaint it.

I'm definitely going to be picking up the Quetzalcoatlus and Amargasaurus too. No doubt about it.

Really glad we get to see these now and so soon too, since they were not at toy fair. I have to wonder if the app will be getting an update soon or not. I will be adding these to my wishlist in it for sure.

Edit: Here's the Collect Jurassic link with the better look at the Amargasaurus:

Another edit:
I really hope we will get to see what Echo and Charlie will look like soon too. At the very least I am still hoping Echo looks like Delta, as Delta looks more like her.

Warning, I don't know why, but I'm very excited about these, so this may get ramble-ly:

Sure, I may be biased; sure I may have bought every figure and their repaint, but these look great. I'm so happy with that Quetzalcoatlus, I've been wanting to do a dinotopia skybax, and was going to try my hand at scultpitng a new head for the Pteranodon roarivores, but, now I don't have to. I honestly was terrified of what the colors were going to be for the Quetzalcoatlus and Amargasaurus, but these have turned out pretty alright, outside of that JP3 raptor. On the subject of that raptor, I really hope him and the Dilophosaurus come out in the Legacy colors.

Also, why is the Mussusaurus my favorite?

Oh man, I want ALL of these!

I was worried they'd give Quetzalcoatlus teeth. I forgot Mussaurus was even rumored, what an exotic species. Mattel did it first.

Feathered Mononykus yeah! Amargasaurus woooo!

I was afraid the quetz would follow the design of the JW pteranodon.  I'm glad that's not the case.  That figure looks amazing.

And yet, despite Mattel producing the figure I want, I'm more excited for the Mononykus. ;D ;D ;D

Faelrin

Yeah so I just realized the Mononykus toy not only shares the feathering of the one in the film, the color scheme is similar too.

Toy:

Film version:

The Dimetrodon toy is another one that has similar color schemes, give or take the Dracorex, and Concavenator too (I see some similarities between them). That's obviously not counting the Attack Pack Dilophosaurus and Velociraptor from last year too that are similar or based on their film (manor statue) counterparts.

Surprise announcements!

Wow, not bad at all, the Amargasaurus looks pretty cool, a same about the sail, but is JW, so it's alright. Quetzalcoatlus is also really good.

I guess two more added to the list. ::)

The Mononykus is worth getting just for the genus alone. I feel weird about the Mussaurus, it looks so much like a baby dinosaur.

So the Legacy JP3 raptor has been canceled? What a same... :(
Guess I will have to improve my painting skills and repaint the repaint to look like how originally was. I'm already able to do some touches to my JW figures so that's a start.

Thats because the most Complete Specimen (thats Described anyways) is a Baby dinosaur.

Halichoeres

The Mononykus is kind of cute! I think I'll stick with my BotM one, but I hope this one is successful and inspires Mattel to try other oddball dinosaurs. I think I'll have to go for the Mussaurus, as I think the only other one is from Gimiki's Journey.
