So there's a bunch of new figures up for pre-order on Amazon now. Some that we knew about and knew what they looked like. Others are fresher, like the Savage Strike Dilophosaurus.

So it is nice to have a bunch of images of the rest of the Savage Strikes (minus the Plesiosaurus one). At this point much of the remaining 2019 items that we knew about (through toy fair, previous listings) have images now. The Pachycephalosaurus looks similar to the Legacy one, in terms of its coloration (other then being the same sculpt). Might be good for folks that couldn't get that one (if this one shows up for them), even if isn't as film accurate as the Legacy one. The new Dilophosaurus is looking pretty interesting too, if only because of that purple color scheme. I might have to get this one, if only because it is the previous unreleased Legacy sculpt, although like the quilled Velociraptor, a shame those were canceled. If only they could still just release them (if I had to guess something to do with Target, if not something else).

Also has the listing for the Mosasaurus Sea Sub Matchbox set always been up? Says it is out of stock, and oddly overpriced. I thought that was canceled since it never seemed to have shown up or been in stock (even though there was an image of it from NY toy fair 2018 out there from Jurassic Outpost).

Pretty interesting to see that most of these have July estimated shipping dates too, which is pretty similar to Entertainment Earth's estimated shipping date for some of these (like the Indominus rex). Wonder why they told us fall if this stuff might be getting out sooner then that? As a just in case thing?

Strange the new attacks packs are not up yet (although even the Coelurus is still not up for pre-order unlike the green Herrerasaurus), but maybe in time.

Edit: No sign of the repainted Concavenator and the blue/grey Triceratops either yet.

Should've stuck with the Legacy colours on the Dilophosaurus...
What a disappointment.

Hopefully we get the correct colors eventually for this guy and the raptor, knowing Mattel I can't see them not repainting these.

CityRaptor

Possible, yes.

That Dilophosaurus looks like it could fit right in with Chaos Effect.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark

I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

MLMjp

Oh no.
I was hopping that the Dilophosaurus would at least have the frill pattern like the original legacy figure but no. Now I cannot see me trying to repaint it. Not sure if I want it now. :-\

PD: I love how evil the Indominus rex looks  >:D

tanystropheus

Only the Ankylo appears to don naturalistic colors here (even though I quite like their bluish version)

terrorchicken

ugh I was hoping for a new dilo with at least naturalistic colors if not green, not with that neon blue/purple hue.  >:(

at least the ankylosaur looks ok...

Appalachiosaurus

Yeah, probably not going to get any of these repaints. No real point in collecting JP toys that barely resemble the JP dinos.

Loon

Here's a post I made on the JP toys Facebook, basically it seems like a bunch more repaints are coming.

Quote from: Loon
After scanning the new Attack Pack Herrerasaurus I noticed that it was (1/2); so, I decided to go throught the rest of the Dino Rivals "profiles" on the app to see if there were anymore figures with potential future versions. This list is for figures that have been "confirmed" by the app, but have not been shown; not figures that have been revealed, but have no app profile.

I'll get the least interesting ones out of the way, the figures already confirmed by the app. While these are confirmed, that doesn't mean they won't be cancelled at some point, as shown by the last legacy single pack Dinos.

Indoraptor (1/1)
Tyrannosaurus rex (3/3)

Here are the figures with no "profiles" in the app, but they are 'confirmed" via the numbers on other via the numbering of other figures of the same species (for example, if there's only a Suchomimus (1/2) already in the app, there's probably a Suchomimus (2/2) coming.)

Herrerasaurus (2/2)
Monolophosaurus (2/2)
Suchomimus (2/2)
Triceratops (3/3)
Plesiosaurus (2/2)
Pteranodon (3/3)
Velociraptor (6/8), (7/8), (8/8), the individual numbers of each Velociraptor may differ but there are 8 non-Blue raptors in Dino Rivals line (including the Legacy Story-Packs) according to the app, and 5 have been revealed./quote]

Blade-of-the-Moon

They should do a white variant to clear out all those Indoraptors.

avatar_Loon @Loon Some of those are Battle Damage figures (there's been listings for a Proceratosaurus, Herrerasaurus, and Monolophosaurus), Attack Packs (again Proceratosaurus here, and another Dimorphodon), and at least the other Plesiosaurus is a Savage Strike. For the raptors we have Delta, Echo, and Charlie, the two Legacy story pack raptors (+ a third rumored one coming with Malcolm), and the Savage Strike quilled one. That still leaves another we don't know about yet at all. Strange that Blue shows 1/1 even though we know about the Savage Strike one, but that might be a 1/1 too though. Interesting that there is a going to be yet another Triceratops (other then the one shown at Toy Fair, which can be accounted for, like with the second Concavenator), and yet another Suchomimus, and Pteranodon too. Unless any of those were canceled like with the potential third rex, and Indoraptor.

Edit: Of course once they update the app again, we'll have some answers hopefully.

No surprise to me that this line was repaint heavy (and really seems so), but I'm just glad there was enough new species to collect (and a retool/repaint of the Destruct-A-Saurs Dimetrodon which was canceled), but without them it just meant money saved and I could focus on other lines. I wonder what will be the case for next year (for instance if they continue the line will there be more new species, or just repaints only). They should at least do a Corythosaurus, and maybe the Apatosaurus to fill out the rest of the film species (if not other film variations like a JPIII colored Ankylosaurus and Parasaurolophus).

Dino Scream3232

Finally found the Coelurus yesterday. Feels like I've been looking forever. Really cool figure. Love the white on it. My favorite attack pack so far. https://youtu.be/Wv2oc95Dh84

MLMjp

Yep, the Coelurus is pretty good, will have to add it to the list.
NOT MY PHOTO:

If this is what we should expect then I might be better off trying to repaint a jumping raptor figure into the JP 3 female to be honest.

It could be that this particular piece has paint problems and the rest would be fine but still. I am seriouly considering removing this pack from the list.

These do look quite depressing. It seems that The Big One's pose is made so that it could be on top of a flailing Muldoon. But still obviously the worst sculpt of the Velociraptors.
And it doesn't even look like the female has much paint on it.

ItsTwentyBelow

The JPIII female raptor set is by FAR the more interesting and desirable of these two because of the better raptor sculpt, the awesome egg and camera bag accessories, and the fact that Grant at least has different colored trousers, making him an exclusive figure.

mgaguilar: that "big one" raptor sculpt with Muldoon was not made for the set, if that's what you're thinking. It's just the weakest (by far) attack pack raptor sculpt, with different colors.

Let me rephrase myself by saying that the choice of pose for The Big One was made for the scene. I have the original attack pack green raptor and am well-aware of Mattel's velociraptors.

Oh wow! It looks a lot more intricately detailed than I initially imagined.

Faelrin

I'll get the white raptor, regardless that it has some inaccuracies (head sculpt of course is wrong, no round pupils, and no red around the eyes or feet). At least it is another "color" to add to the ever growing pack of Mattel raptors I have. I mean depending on when it actually comes out in my area. A shame that particular one seems to be missing some paint apps on the face, if not elsewhere.

Also I'm kind of disappointed that the other raptor was more yellow in the app, but greenish here. I'll have to get the pic off my phone tomorrow I took of it in the app when it was the dino of the week. But well I already have the Battle Damage raptor which is vastly superior.

And checked a local Walmart and still no sign of this little one (or any other newer ones), but of course they are usually behind on other things (yet again still have last year Wave 3 attack packs on the shelf). Maybe next month in a different location. At least I was able to find a HTTYD figure I did not know existed (which I also post in the appropriate thread tomorrow).
