Eofauna - new for 2019

Eofauna's previous releases were prehistoric mammals, and were both a commercial and critical success. Now they are preparing to release their first dinosaur model in the form of the popular theropod Giganotosaurus. Like previous pieces, this model is expected to maintain a high level of quality, while mass manufacturing in PVC will help keep the price lower than traditional resin kits. The manufacturer expects to receive this piece toward the very end of 2018, so it will likely be available in stores in early 2019.

More information on 2019 releases from Eofauna will be posted in this thread.

Shonisaurus

I hope that in the next year Eofauna will be encouraged to make new figures of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals.

I hope they make figures even very obscure in the toy market and collecting in our case although seeing the excellence and beauty of the Giganotosaurus of Eofauna does not traumatize me if they continue to make figures of dinosaurs known in the toy market because I know they will be awesome figures and very nice

Fembrogon

I think Eofauna has implied in Facebook comments that we might see more dinosaurs in 2019. Frankly, whatever they end up doing, I'm game for it right now.

PhilSauria

I see that Monsterhouse has begun listing the Gig for their usual extortionate prices. Don't do it!

Shonisaurus

avatar_PhilSauria @PhilSauria Monsterhouse sells it to you (shipping costs included) for 65 dollars, when in an online store in Europe or America the total costs are 40 or 45 euros / dollars. You are absolutely right, it is preferable to buy it from stores in Europe or the USA.

Fembrogon

Dejankins says on Facebook that the Giga should be coming in stock within the week.

My other half did, it's inspired by the Dino Crisis 2 Giganotosaurus which was the first time I saw it and fell in love with the dinosaur when it killed the T Rex in the video game when I was 5.

Since no one made one the safari Ltd one became the candidate since it was also the first Giganotosaurus I got and first dino in my collection when I started two years ago lol.

Thank you. It's nice to know this.  (And the repaint is nice). Now I can decide what to do with it when it's available.

Wow S @Syndicate Bias they look awesome together and that repaint of the Safari version is much more pleasing than the original version ;D They're so close, it looks like the bulk of the Eofauna one is slightly greater, and of course it's not confined to a base, but they're both so very good...what a lucky time to be a collector!

I agree with this. The lack of a base gives the new Eofauna a slight edge. Might even get rid of my Safari one at some point...

I'm not a fan of oversized Giganotosaurus video games though, but the colour scheme looks nice on the Safari figure.

Papo and many other companies doing more than just the basic dinosaurs we always see.
