Thanks for the photos Syndicate Bias I see that the expected giganotosaurus of Eofauna is going to make a good pair with his counterpart of Safari, on the other hand the repainting done by your half half to the giganotosaurus of Safari has improved it positively its colors are much more realistic.

Wow S @Syndicate Bias they look awesome together and that repaint of the Safari version is much more pleasing than the original version ;D They're so close, it looks like the bulk of the Eofauna one is slightly greater, and of course it's not confined to a base, but they're both so very good...what a lucky time to be a collector!
I agree with this. The lack of a base gives the new Eofauna a slight edge. Might even get rid of my Safari one at some point...

I'm not a fan of oversized Giganotosaurus video games though, but the colour scheme looks nice on the Safari figure.

It was pretty disappointing when I was little to find that it wasn't that big hence the name but I still love it even if it's now the same size as a t rex as they keep looking over the real measurements

I'm hoping the PNSO Giganotosaurus releases soon, I'm considering getting more Eofauna Giganotosaurus to have them repainted.

Nice Crisis paintjob.

Playing devil's advocate:
On one hand - wow, they look very similar.  I guess that's a good thing since they're both figures of the same animal.
On the other hand - they eerily look too similar.  >:D

I'll echo minmiminime.  What a lucky time to be a collector.

yes both figures have poses that extremely resemble each other haha.
agree with the bulk thing of the eofauna one. my biggest gripe with the safari one has always been how narrow the neck and shoulder region are from the top view

I was getting the Eofauna one for reference for an eventual ( I hope ) project...but that overhead shot..I'm now not sure it will be worth it as  I already have the Safari Giga.

What's wrong with it?

I would still recommend this figure over the safari one. The paint job could definitely be more d dynamic but the sculpt itself is better and you will see the other details that you won't see in pictures when you have o jne in your hand. I wanna see some repaints of it, hopefully someone does. Also it's not on a base so that's another plus avatar_Blade-of-the-Moon @Blade-of-the-Moon

Nothing wrong, just pretty much exactly the same as what I have already.

My Giganotosaurus of Eofauna is on the way and I will honestly never regret having bought such beauty from my point of view. I value the critics to this figure but for me it is a very good figure that equals in geniness the giganotosaurus of Vitae although perhaps it would have been more attractive with a size as big as the aforementioned company. Anyway I am very happy with the company Eofauna and the photographs of the prototype I know for sure that the real figure will excite me more than the promotional photos as I did with the palaeoloxodon antiquus and the mammoth trogontherii since in photographs or videos I do not know You can visualize the level of detail that one can observe by having the figure physically or better said in person.

Loon

Does Eofauna only release 1 figure per year? Cuz, I'd honestly really like another figure, maybe even an other dinosaur from them.

Shonisaurus

Eofauna in his day commented that he had projected another figure, I hope it is a dinosaur or animal of the Mesozoic era.

Can we make eofauna spinosaurus the next Papo Giga?

[HOT TAKE]: Well, the Eofauna figure would at least not look generic

PhilSauria

You never know, Spinosaurus does seem to be popular this year with versions coming from no less that three other manufacturers (three that is if PNSO finally get around to releasing theirs!).

There seems to be no stopping the flood of Tyrannosaurs so do we need one more?, you may ask, but I personally would like to see how this company would interpret such an iconic species. It would probably make a change from all of the homages to Jurassic Park out there at least.

^This.

After seeing the saurian redesign, I would love to see a Rex in a similar style from Eofauna, given how much it seems to vibe with their design style.

I admit, as much as I feel we need variety, I can't help but like this idea.
