Hi Ajax, as requested, I've deleted your diorama and pets posts. 

Everyone around here knows I'm "mad with power". 

Really, the lack of a delete button just helps to stop members being too trigger happy with posting and deleting - which helps to keep the forum more stable, and makes moderating easier. And members can still delete the content of a post if they wish.

I think it also makes sense in case anyone were to post something horrible--may well force people to think before they act (instead of being able to delete incriminating evidence, etc).

Yeah, well at least we'd have evidence that they posted something, even if they deleted it. "Who, me? No Guv, not me, I never said a word"

I think a separate Model Kits section isn't a bad idea.

Hehe, well it counts! I'll go ahead and do it. With all these boards the main page is getting rather tall now, so I may also move the Dinoriders board and Faunacasts board as sub-boards of the new Dinosaur Lines board.

I have two questions (sorry if they're in the wrong section)

1. Can moderators and admin see privates messages exchanged between members on the server?

2. For some reason I can't see my most recent post on the chat when I'm logged off. Is this a bug? Or have I been blocked?

Private messages can't be seen by anyone other than the correspondents.

You won't have been blocked without warning. You are still able to post, so that's another indicator. I tried logging off myself but I can still see the posts in the chat box as usual. Perhaps it's another of the server's occasional vagaries. I couldn't see the star ratings for the reviews on the blog the other day, for instance. Can you still see your posts once you've logged back on?

Yeah, I disabled this feature the other week because some cheeky young chaps on the forum, (not you postsaurischian )  were using it with somewhat reckless abandon.

You can, however, still use the 'subtitle' button to make your text smaller, if that's any use.

I've added a member to my ignore list (don't ask who) but I can still see their posts. Why is this? Isn't ignoring someone supposed to block their posts? And also, can this person still contact me via PM if I am ignoring them?

Also, unrelated but on a similar note- if someone personally attacked me via PM, would that be a bannable offense? Or does it have to be posted on the forum to count? Btw I am not suggesting that someone has actually attacked me, but I am simply curious.

If you wish to report an offence to a mod via PM we will be happy to listen and see if action is warranted.

As for ignoring members, I've never used that feature, so I don't know how it works.

Just recently I stopped being notified of new messages again, it happened before started working again and now seems to have stopped yet again.

Is there maybe a limit to how many times it can notify a user in a given amount of time perhaps ?  It started working for a few messages the other day then quit again. :?
