Hi ZoPteryx, it sounds like you've clicked the toggle button, check what Dr Admin said in Reply #2 here: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=4943.0

Ah, that's it!  Thank you.  :)

Two things that I wish this forum had:
1. Spoiler tags (something I have been suggesting for years)
2. Notification when someone replies to a comment

I understand it may not simply be possible to upgrade the software to incorporate these things, but I do really wish the forum had them.

The forum seems  to more or less in a way do this using the updated topics tab directly to the left side under recent posts....it brings up any topic that has been updated either by reply or by someone editing it if I am understanding its function correctly which would seem to be what you are asking for...while it does not notify for a given topic only it does show any/all topics that have been updated.

i just noticed we've got some new and old trolls, spammers, attention seekers posting irrelevant things in a few sections of this forum. just saying.

If a post breaks a forum rule, please report these to the moderators. There is a button on the bottom right of each post for this.   C:-)

Maybe the games section should be adjusted so that the posts created there do not contribute towards a user's count. It is possible that people could (and are) using those threads to artificially bump up their post count.

I for one would not mind that, even though I occasionally engage in some of the games. They're just silly games and don't really contribute to the main conversations going on here on the forum (dinosaurs and dinosaur toys).

DinoToyForum

Would the purpose be to discourage people posting in the games section? I don't think they do any harm.

No, it would just discourage people from using that section as a method to bump up their post count artificially. People can still participate and enjoy, but the posts won't be counted.

I don't think the games section hurts anyone, and if increased post count encourages participation there, surely that's a positive thing. The DTF could use lightening up sometimes! :)
