I'm not sure if the Postosuchus has been released yet. Unfortunate that it now may be a while, but it could be possible some retailers will receive their orders.

Don't think it is included with the Sauropelta wave (Wave 1), which currently seems to be just Charlie, Tapejara re-pack, and Sauropelta from my in-store observation. The Sauropelta I had bought was replaced with another Sauropelta on the peg, which leads me to think this. But I don't have access to very many other stores.

So I've been charged for Charlie (which my order for it says processing now) on Entertainment Earth, so must mean it has come into stock and is shipping soon. The Sauropelta has been pushed back to June. Has anyone else here had these pre-ordered there and experienced this?

I preordered mos of this new Wave in September of last year they were pushed back repeatedly.  As of now I have everything but the Postosuchus which was deleted from my preorder.

Collect Jurassic posted new images of the new Savage Strike figures (and some others a bit ago such as the new mini figures, and the new Sound Strikes).

The first thing worth mentioning is that we will be getting Delta (which is what I thought when I saw the green blue or teal raptor figure at NY Toy Fair) and Echo (I did not think the mostly brown and red colored raptor was, because the colors aren't quite right).

Particularly my issues with this being Echo is that the red on the back should probably be more of an orange coloration instead, and the stripes should be more blue or teal (I'll whip up a quick color change in gimp later to show what I mean later), but regardless I still liked this one even if as another raptor repaint, and it may be the closest thing we have to the JP raptor color wise for now (maybe with the exception of the red), if not the 2018 BD yellow and brown raptor, in this scale. Granted the sculpt choice is also odd (and a bit tiring at this point), as Charlie and Delta where the ones with the JPIII raptor-like crests in the film, but well they also used this sculpt for Blue before too oddly. Honestly at this point I wish they either just left the crests out, or retooled the head to not have them, if they intend to keep reusing this sculpt.

Other figures include the first repaint of the Stygimoloch sculpt in non film accurate colors (though they don't stray too far from them), the Styracosaurus repaint, the new Dilophosaurus sculpt, and the Scutosaurus.

Will you please stop screwing up the heads of you raptors, Mattel? The orange legacy collection raptor shouldn't have had crests, these new savage strikes Charlie and Delta should have them and Echo shouldn't. Is it that difficult to retool the sculpt a bit?

Anyway, I still want the Delta despite having a custom one that I made from a Charlie attack pack. That Echo though...I will most likely stick to my custom figure.

Oh god that Scutosaurus...who knows when we'll see it now  :-\

I've needed a Scutosaurus action figure ever since seeing the JP Series II figure on the back of the packaging in 1995.

There is another repaint of the Stygimoloch planned as well, shown in the first post. Has a much different mostly light/dark gray color scheme.

stargatedalek

I like the crests, at least for figures meant to be generic raptors. They always had the crests prior to JW they were just slightly further exaggerated in JP3.

So I found out that the Postosuchus has been available in Australia of all places back in February.

After seeing something on reddit with someone concerned about it, and swearing I've seen some people had acquired them on instagram before, I did some digging and found two posts regarding them having been found in Australia it seems.

Could be more out there too (found or not).

Edit: No sooner then I post this I found two more posts of these (found in Mexico as of late last month, or last week).

A @austrosaurus Thank you for some additional confirmation on that.

I'm hoping Mattel can repack this one in the future once this crisis can hopefully settle, but at least it got out there just in time for some folks to acquire and enjoy having it.

Edit: Fixed an oops with who I made an @ with.

Does anyone know if the amber collection will be adding any herbivores or other non raptor species this year?

Supposedly dilophosaurus and nedry.

Brontozaurus

I can back up the Postosuchus being in Australia, I found one in Kmart today. Though I went with the Sauropelta, now I feel like I should go back for the other one!

I think it's a little funny how some JW theropods have pronated wrists and some don't. The teeth on that one are cute, tho.

I wonder if someone in Mattel really liked some of the concept art of the Indominus and said: "Let's turn it into a figure!""But we already have an Indominus!" "Oh! Then renamed into a theropod that we don't know a lot about but that its seems like a large one."

Just like avatar_Mattyonyx @Mattyonyx said:

The Siats looks pretty cool!

Other than the quills, I'm not really seeing any similarities between the concept art and the sculpt of the Siats figure. Vaguely similar pattern, but different colors. The concept art more closely resembles a Tyrannosaur (god those exposed skull bones look terrible) while the Siats sculpt seems to be much more Allosauroid-ish.

I got an email today (a bit late though?) regarding the cancelation of the Postosuchus figure I pre-ordered from Entertainment Earth.

This is what they said:

QuoteUnfortunately, we're sorry to report that the manufacturer has notified us[/size]that we will not be receiving any additional shipments of the JurassicWorld Savage Strike Postosuchus (Item MTGJN90) you ordered, because theyhave discontinued production of this item.  No additional information wasprovided to us by the manufacturer as to why this occurred.  Sadly, thatmeans we will not be able to ship it to you and have cancelled it fromyour order.  We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

So this bodes poorly for those of us in the US in regards to getting a chance to get this one (and likely elsewhere globally), although I suppose that isn't new either.
