Awesome!!!! But it isn't an aquatic swamp-dweller is it, 'cause I've already got one of those in Series 2 ;). Anyway, good luck :)!

My Xuanhanosaurus, done with pastel pencils and a 5.0 pencil. Part of a bigger picture. My scanner is lousy, it doesn't actually have those stupid brown marks.

This is the best one you've done so far. What kind of colored pencils did you use?

TheAllosaur

I didn't use colored pencils, I used Derwent Pastel Pencils. They're expensive, but they're definitely worth it.

Sounds cool! Also congratulations, you are currently winning my creature-competition!

Competition for Episode 4.7 is over, the Future Monitor is the winner and it will officially be in my series! However the competition for Episode 5.7 is still open. Also if you want to check it out I've got some new stuff for my Yutyrannus book and Spec up already, some new Primeval Continued stuff too.

I know this is random,  but I had to put a piece of my book in this, just to give you a taste of it.

The enemy mounts were perhaps the worst thing about them. The Saurobaun were terrible beasts, great creatures that had came with the Srakese empire from afar. They were huge creatures, bipedal, with great rounded heads, with horny ridges and bumps. They had small, but fearsome, eyes, red and bright. The mounts had great teeth, long and curved, razor sharp, and a helmet of iron was fastened to its great skull. It had a thick body, covered in hard scales, and small bony scutes. They had tiny arms, small things with stubby fingers and short claws. But the legs made up for the small arms greatly. The legs were large, thick, mucsled, and equpiped with huge claws on the feet. These strong legs kept it's great mass steady on the uneven, red desert ground. Behind the torso was a long, thick, curved tail, with armor plates along it as well, made of thick iron. The tail kept it steadily balanced, keeping its great bulk from toppling over.
These great Saurobaun were a terrible enemy, and the riders that sat atop their strong backs were highly trained, much more than an average Srak soldier. Other than the ability to steer and control the great beasts they rode, the Riders were capable of fighting extraordinarily well, and managing soldiers succesfully. They were even higher ranked and trained than generals and commanders, only evil Srak heroes, champions, warlords, and other great ranks proceeded the Riders in authority.

Can you guess what the Saurobaun is, anybody?

An Abelisaur. Also can you post a description of the Rider Srak? I am making a 'Saurobaun with Rider Srak' drawing but I cannot finish it because have no idea how the Srak look. I will post the picture in my art thread when it is totally done. Can't wait to see more of this awesome book :)!

TheAllosaur

Believe it or not, I have been planning a Srak and Saurobaun (by the way, you hit it right on the head, yes, it was an abelisaur, a mix of Carnotaurus and Majungasaurus, perhaps a little-known species. I also have sauropods, grand saurobaun, and all sorts of Saurobaun in my book) drawing, and so I have a good description. A Srak is a reptilian creature, about 6 feet tall, bent over. They have long heads, slightly spinosaur like, and often have large, spiky, fearsome clothing. They have long arms, with three fingers, and shorter legs, with clawed toes. They have short, thin tails, with little spines. They hunt in groups, and regular soldiers have makeshift swords or other weapons, but riders are diffrent. They are heavily muscled, often have good armor and helmets, made of good metal, well made. They have a pair of metal spines protruding from their back armor, and these go over thier heads. Flags fly from these, small flags. They look well-ordered, not messy like and orc, but like a very good soldier. Their weapons range from bows, swords, and often long-handled weapons with a long, curved blade on the end, giving them a good reach from the mount.
Need more for the Rider/Srak in general?

Thanks for the description :). Also its kind of funny that you made it as a Carnotaurus and Majungasaurus mix because that is EXACTLY how I drew it. Well, anyway I should be able to finish and post the picture soon. Also do you mind if I post the picture in this thread too, since it is from your book?
