You might have a bit of a wait shipping internationally, what with COVID still a thing.  But otherwise it's definitely worth going to Everything Dinosaur.  They're lovely people with a fantastic range and excellent customer service.  I speak as a Brit, so a bit more local, but when it comes to getting a model new rather than off ebay I personally wouldn't consider going to anyone else - unless of course they don't stock it, which obviously isn't an issue with CollectAs.

Is it just me, or is the CollectA Iguanodon VERY prone to paint scuffs?

I assume it's due to the harder plastic they used on that particular figure. Dunno why they didn't change materials for future runs, e.g. the current softer Schleich-like plastic holds up rather well to children playing with them.

So I finally got the remaining Collecta figures for 2020 today just an hour or so ago. Gotta say, I really like them. My thoughts for each figure:

Caviramus: The colors still come off as weird in person and it's definitely smaller than my other Collecta Pterosaurs, but it looks cool regardless. I especially love the frill on the head and the way the tail arches up. Makes it look like this Caviramus is either playing or fighting something depending on how you pose the jaw.

Lisowicia: As others have said, this big animal is hefty in person. Easily much heavier than the Estemmenosuchus and such. I'm not a big fan of the white dots, but the overall color scheme is something I approve of. We don't know how good it's eyesight was so it is entirely possible that like some mammals, it wasn't very good. Probably very grey and brown.

Megalodon: Is a big shark. I'm glad I have one so that I can finally have a Megalodon in my collection, but I honestly don't really care about this one too much to want to talk about what I like and dislike about it. The Megalodon review on the site covers the good points.

Saltriovenator: This one was the surprise dinosaur of the box in that Salty is much bigger than I was expecting. I kept assuming a size similar to the Baryonyx or Ceratosaurus when he is actually a decent bit bigger than them. His feet are big too, but it's only obvious next to Ceratosaurus and the like. His color scheme is a little meh and toyetic, but to be honest, I'm just happy someone made this dinosaur period.

I'm including a link to an image post I made featuring all of the Safari and Collect figures I got for 2020 right over here at https://imgur.com/a/TgFl4ZZ I normally would post some of the pics here, but I just wanted to get this post done quickly today.

avatar_TaranUlas @TaranUlas My congratulations on your new acquisitions and above all a magnificent and detailed description of the new Collecta figures. On the other hand, the abundant photographs of the prehistoric animals of Safari and Collecta are very beautiful. Caviramus is honestly more beautiful than I thought. Thanks for your pictures.

Halichoeres

Thanks for the useful photos! My last batch of CollectAs are still in the mail, so now I know what to expect.

I usually don't collect the flyers but these big CollectA models are so tempting. I wonder how durable they are because it would be fun to have one on my balcony. But I am afraid the birds would use it as their toilet...

avatar_Sarapaurolophus @Sarapaurolophus: avatar_Lanthanotus @Lanthanotus might well know the answer to how durable the pterosaurs are outside. See reply 196 in his thread (early April 2020). He was displaying the Guidraco above his porch.

I've had 4 Guidracos, 2 Dimorphodons, 3 Cauijara , and now 2 of these Caviramus outdoors since they released with no issues. They are kind of small to get bird droppings, unlike my bigger statues in the park.  My concern would be squirrels or chipmunks that like to gnaw on things. Maybe try a clear matte coat on them to prevent it?
