Am i really the only one that thinks these Mojo figures are absolutely terrible? I mean, it's almost hard not to laugh.
If you use the word "absolutely", then you compel most people to disagree with you. Some of the figures are really quite good, others so-so and some, yes, awful - the older ones in particular. Like Schleich, they have the propensity to mix good and bad in a given year. They have a ways to go before they hit the Safari/ CollectA plateau. But they have made decent progress. My personal biggest beef with them is the theropod "clown" feet. Others will express different concerns as more problematic.

You probably are, yes. These toys may not be in the same league as CollectA, PNSO, and Safari, but they're not terrible by any stretch.

Mojo dinosaurs are less collectible, they are not like other toy dinosaur companies mentioned but honestly I have them in my collection and some of Mojo's new figures are in the range of acceptable and even some are masterfully painted as the new baryonyx repainted with Mojo.

Mojo is definitely improving, I consider them a worthwhile brand. You can tell they are trying at least.

When they first announced to the forum that they were heading in a new direction, we were disappointed in what they turned out, but gradually since then they seem to be getting better. It appears they haven't quite found a, I dunno, voice, or fingerprint yet, to match Collecta, Papo or Safari - but I bet they will soon, and we will be looking forward to new Mojo releases. This year, they are closer to achieving that, I think. Which is more than we can say for Schleich, who, aside from the occasional surprise, are getting worse every year, when once they had promise.

I personally look forward to what Mojo brings out next year.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

CityRaptor

I would say that they have some offerings that are at least okay.  Not as good as some other brands, but there are worse.  Won't get anything from their current line up, but at least they are improving.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Appalachiosaurus

Their stuff is fine enough, but they pale in comparison to the other major brands.

I agree with the terrible designation. The occasional half decent figure, or decent design that got poorly executed, doesn't change my overall impression that the brands offerings are less than lackluster. Their designs are stylized without being unique or recognizable, and unrealistic without doing anything truly interesting or new with that creative liberty.

The problem with the argument of gradual improvement is that gradual improvement is something we see in technical skills. Mojo are making choices as to how they want the figures to look. If they actually wanted to they could make perfectly accurate figures, or they could commit to a more distinctive art style.

I seen many comments about them being okay, mediocre, or downright garbage.
But am i the only one who actually likes them.

I doubt it. I'm sure many people like them but based on the many negative comments Mojo have, probably will not be very vocal about it😂

Mojo , it seems, is following  CollectA's footsteps, and that's great to see and they have been showing improvements each year.

You're wrong. I personally like Mojo's figures. In fact, I bought all the news, including the two repainted velociraptors in Minizoo.
They are good figures that are improving year after year and I am very happy with them. I like them like you too.

By the way, i heard mojo temporarly shut down due to that stupid coronavirus. (i got this info from A @Andysdinosaurreviews  when i asked him about when i will recieve my mojo package from the giveaway.)

does any one have any idea about when it will come back

I dunno if somebody has posted it before, but I found artist who sculpts for Mojo. There are photos of 2020 original sculpts. They look way more impressive than the final products, even the Spinosaurus.

So, I think Mojo's quality has pretty much always stayed solidly mediocre. They've been around nearly as long as Collecta, but never really matured into a serious prehistoric line like Collecta did. Their models, rather than being cutting-edge modern reconstructions of prehistoric animals, always look like they are stuck 15-20 years behind the times. Like that "new" Spinosaurus is based on how the animal was thought to look around the early 2000s. The three new 2020 sauropods are border line plastic bin quality to my eye compared to other manufacturers. Mojo figures all kind of have a clunky look to me.

The Mandschurosaurus is somewhat interesting but I do not at all like how the hind feet look for some reason. Too flat-footed and the way the animal's weight would be resting on them looks off.

I can't collect everything and each year Mojo is a brand that I personally never even consider adding to my collection. I have three of those nice extinct mammals Mojo did about 10 years ago (but did NOT like the 4th, their Deinotherium), but that sculptor seems long gone.

I do think the Dunkleosteus is pretty decent. The newer Triceratops could be worse too, but the Safari model makes it unnecessary to me. So yeah, Mojo. For me, there are so many better brands out there to pay attention to first.

I for one think we should accept the fact that Mojo Fun is not going to be on the same pedastal as Safari or CollectA when it comes to Acuracy.

There new models are not accurate. There not attemtpting to be acurate.  But they look ten times better then the Ugly Sluggish models that they made back in 2013, and look more lively then the ones from 2015.

I Hope great things for there models. All i ask is that they would quit with the REPEAT Species.

That's it, with one exception on my part - I like the modification of last years brownish-red Triceratops. Seems like I'm gradually assembling a herd and the colors blend well with the new and old Wild Safari versions and therefore these two fit in quite adequately.

Same but I got 12, maybe because it was a give away

Ok It Appears that Mojo Fun is Rebooting there Dinosaur line for 2020.

With 12 diffrent species released (Plus two retooled versions of models released in 2018) I figured this is the right time to collect Dinosaur models from Mojo fun.

This is the first model i got from the 2020 line up. the Green Baryonyx, and it has some signs that make me theroize this new reboot.

For one, the bottom of the figure has the name of the animal stamped on it, when no Mojo dinosaur model Prior to 2020 has there name stamped on it.

Another thing is that it says "MOJO Dino Fans"

Whats this "Dino Fans"? does anyone know?

Anyways here is a Walkaround with my Blurry phone Camera, Because im currently out of a Digital one

Nice walkaround, thanks avatar_Takama @Takama

Out of curiosity, the figure also says "Designed in the" and I guess it is a "U" for UK, but the text is cut off in the photo, is UK right?
